Representatives for a U.S. Special Operations Command training scheduled over the summer in Bastrop County will again present information regarding the exercise to county commissioners.

Officials with JADE HELM 15, as the training is called, will lay out details of their months-long training to commissioners at their Monday, April 27 Commissioner Court meeting.

...

Many Americans have expressed strong concern over the training on social media, and locally some Bastrop County residents have stated their apprehension for the military training to local county officials.

Officials have responded by saying that JADE HELM 15, a form of Realistic Military Training (RMT), will coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and local property owners affected by this training exercise.

...

The JADE HELM 15 presentation to commissioners will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom at 804 Pecan St., 2nd floor, and is open to the public.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m., the military training presentation is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Oh, boy, FarleyWayne DO I ever have second thoughts about this situation too! Do I serve iced tea or bottled water when the troops come storming through my neighborhood which is directly between Camp Swift (up the road two miles from me and headed the remaining two miles south) to the laid-back Bastrop town of 7200?

(People if you hear no further from me--some will be happy--either the troops hauled me off or I've given up on doom porn on ATS.)

The 4th Amendment has been effectively done away with and so has Posse Comitatus . Other than post on some web sight it would appear there is nothing one can do.

Oh oh. How can anyone not feel anxious about this upcoming event?

There was an ad on Craigslist needing crisis actors for a training exercise in Govalle, Tx. that supposedly happened yesterday. I notice that Govalle is only about 30 minutes west of Bastrop.

Makes you go hmmmm....

Thanks, TexasGirl. I hate to link things like that to a drill even in my mind, so I didn't pursue it. However how often when there are suspicious events that we look for coincidental details such as these. Those things sound awfully dangerous. I hope they are not dropped in a field and some people then be made to run through the fields. Better to forewarn than fail to say anything, no matter how far-fetched?

You're welcome. I don't normally pursue these articles, either, but I live in Texas and this Jade Helm exercise has caught my attention!

I would guess that they are used for Pipe-Per forating ...

1st-Picture on 2nd-Page would be the results of their use.

(i.e. for way, way down in the hole to get the oil to flow into the pipe).

Yes, they're oil field ignitors. Can they be used in addition to other things, though? Like other explosives? I don't have knowledge about it.

I doubt they could be used for much more than ...

blowing small-holes in large-pipe.

I don't believe folks from the rural-areas are very afraid of things like these.

(especially in any oil field ... since most of it is dangerous work)

Are you really a ... Texas girl?

It stinks of reconstruction and occupation forces.
Posse Comitatus was law for a good reason.
Calling it "realistic training" is only valid if they plan on attacking Americans.

Not all us Texans are cowboy hat wearing, horse riding citizens. I'm a city girl.

I am concerned that Jade Helm has Texas listed as a 'hostile' state. Even if it is for an exercise.

Not to worry Texas. I think they've pretty much figured out that we're ALL hostile states at this point.

This is probably true, but yet, when I used to work with explosives there were strict protocols, accounting and tallying to ensure nothing went missing, and nothing ever did.

Whoever is responsible for their care (and who cannot state how much is missing!!!!!) is not someone I would want to be.
