We have been extremely poor stewards. Please give us another chance to do right. Don't kill us!

We are wandering and exploring...if this is not the niche for which we were manifested, or if stewardship also misses the mark, then please reveal our ecological purpose in your well-constructed systems.

And I would likely be considered mentally ill talking to a planet..... But of course I would be all warm and fuzzy. knowing that someone else would take care of all my affairs and I needn't bother anymore, just kick back and smile stupidly....... while 'really' I was planning on the conquest of all civilization and it's resources. Bwa ha ha ha ha. Madness... just like the question huh....!

"If" man found a way to talk to the Earth? Every person in so called primitive cultures knew how to talk to not only the planet but to all it's inhabitants, animal, bird, insect, plant and rocks. Their whole lives were based on having a rappor with it.

As to the method a Lakota medicine man by the name of Frank Fool's Crow said (and I paraphrase): " you speak to the Earth just like you and I would speak together, it's the learning how to listen that is difficult. But your speaking and listening aren't done with your brain, it is done with the heart. You spend time with something, let's say a rock. You project yourself in to the rock, try to feel what it feels to be a rock. I call this "becoming". "

It's a meditation where you silence your mind and reach out with your heart to feel the beauty that is all of life. When you realize how perfect nature is, how everything has a place and a purpose and finally understand that you are also a part of creation it can be pretty overwhelming. You don't need any special equipment or rituals, just come to nature with open eyes and ears and reach out with your feelings.

This is a fundamental problem with modern people, we have lost our connection with Mother Earth and we feel the loss. We spend each day as if it were a funeral without knowing who died but feeling it was someone close to us. That is us dying, little by little the further away from her we grow. Most know it as depression.

So yes, we can talk to the planet and all of it's inhabitants.
Not only that but we can learn to hear what it has to say.

I apologize, there are those of us who still respect you but we are the few and the voice and actions of the many outweigh us at this point. Also, thank you for being as tolerant as you have been to our very young species, we will change, I just can't say how soon that will be.

IMO the only thing humans can or could do is become one with the plant. If our species could even come close to that then there really would be nothing to say except thank you for being the most beautiful experience in my life.

For those of you saying ,no , my child was, I agree, but we are talking about "earth" which is a whole nother mind set...IMO

We're annoying, I know. But you have the ability to end us, so thank you for sticking with us.
