It's Time

Yes, I felt it was finally time for me to join in on the fun at ATS. I've been "hanging around" for quite some time and know quite a bit about many of the members on ATS just by reading their posts. I can only imagine what more I have left to learn about all of you.

As I said, I've been around ATS for a long time and I can remember the days when members would create fantastic threads that not only gripped the reader with fantastic subject matter, but with it's excellent research and presentation.

That's what I hope to contribute to ATS. Yes, you will see me discussing politics and current events, but I hope to bring a thread or two that goes well beyond a short paragraph and a youtube video.

We will see you on the threads!

I wouldn't say that I have one area of expertise. More of a jack of all trades. One area of study that intrigues me quite a bit is the art of propaganda and it's use in media, advertising and the overall language of those that have fallen prey to it.

That subject is very difficult to discuss, though, as it can make the most "enlightened" among us very uncomfortable once they learn that some of their most cherished beliefs are rooted in lies and propaganda.
