As with any religion, it is usually hijacked with the wacky ones.

Many Muslim people I know are peaceful and very open, even embracing Christianity as it is their way to get a better understanding and more answers to their world.

I tend to avoid the wackos.

You might be surprised. My mother who has many close clients over the past thirty years brought up the topic of Salmon Rushdie with one of her "moderate" Muslim clients. Their response? Death. Total shocker. Ask your Muslim friends what they think should happen to Rushdie. Suddenly you will see a veil lifted and expose these peaceful loving Muslims in a different light.

I have seen the same thing but it was about something else, a quide nice person became this hate filled person like a switch been turned on. It started to make me think about what isis are doing and a little bit more frighting is there seems to be a little bit of isis in the very basis of the religion

Like I always say and will die saying, Islam is not religion of peace and the so call "moderate Islam" is nothing but an oxymoron to make people thing that is a difference between the two.

They are still fighting these same battles, although some in the UK are proud of how irreligious they have become, it will come back to bite them, because one thing religion does is form a community of like minded individuals, something sorely lacking in the west we are so divided and isolated from one another.

For the love of god they might as well convert, or move to China.
