I wonder who is the greatest threat to life and liberty... ISIS or GOP political hopefuls?

As long as we don't put troops on the ground I think it would be a good idea. IMO we should hit all their nuclear facilities with bunker busters and let the Iranian people breathe in the fallout. Maybe their next mutant generation will think twice about starting up a nuclear program.

Currently,

the threats are coming to reality from the Obama Democrat Administration and Democrats in power.

Wow so much ignorance in one post. Iran has done absolutely nothing to give America an excuse to attack them. Their nuclear program is totally legal and is within the guidelines of the NPT which they signed and there is no evidence of them having a weapons program.

Looks like someone forgot the GOP currently holds control over the House and Senate. Also the Dems are trying to find a way to peace with Iran it's the GOP crying attack.

Xue can you elaborate on the threats coming from the Obama administration and the democrats? Putting aside the awkward smileys there. I'd really like to know. Considering the Republicans hold majorities in both the senate and congress, and considering this is a peace deal with Iran, what threat are we talking about? Do you also have any solid sources for these?

I'd like to know Xue, as a fellow ATSer.

NO WE DON'T need to start another WAR with Iran with a DAMN military STRIKE.
Without STRONG EVIDENCE they are BUILDING an actual weapon I DON'T agree at all.
Once they decide to agree to inspection ONLY then will we lift the santions if they continue and we actually prove they have done so THEN they could be hit AFTER the world agrees.
Not some hot head senator.

The world would never agree and you know that, Russia would never allow anyone to bomb them if asked about it first. Even if someone slipped out of Iran with rock solid intel, that proves they are close to testing a weapon. Unless they have child porn going on in those deep military bunkers that they will not let anyone inspect, one can only conclude they are building a bomb. The fact, that they paid for the FULL package from AQ Kahn of Pakistan proves they have everything they need for a bomb. Those deep bunkers are housing a lot of very small advanced centrifuges. They are more advanced than the U.S. equipment for nuclear enrichment. This is why they will not let anyone inspect it.

Other than the fact Iran has been caught lying about their Nuclear program many, many times. They will not and have not let anyone visit their suspected Nuclear weapons sites deep underground where all the work is being done.

Apparently you are dodging the fact that Obama has been directing the show for 6 years.

Look who's bombing the Hell out of 1000's of targets.

The Obama Administration.

I don't understand the consternation.

The senator is part of the "Government". Government is never wrong. How can we be against the government when the government is only doing its part to look out for us?

All hail government and the voices of government because government is never, ever wrong.

Once again you are unwilling to admit that it's the GOP who is in charge of the House and Senate that is crying for war with Iran.

What you think the Republicans aren't pushing for these bombings? You're being silly if you believe it's only the Obama administration that supports these bombings on various targets in the ME Xue. I don't support this either and I'm sure many others don't as well. I opposed the airstrikes in Libya, I don't like the strikes in Yemen, I don't support any of the bombings. What's your point? You think people like me only oppose war against Iran because the Republicans support it?

Keep thinking that.

Watch what happens very very soon.

The Middle East is going to change quickly, and very soon.

I'm trying to understand your argument here Xue on this threat from the Obama administration.

-You say the Obama administration is already 'bombing 1000's of targets'. Yet we already know this is with the support of the Republicans. In fact some Republicans have argued more bombings and boots on the ground. What's your point?

-I'm yet to meet a person opposed to Iranian military intervention who actually also supports the bombings in other parts of the middle east. Your point?

What exactly do you want Xue? Considering you don't like diplomatic negotiations with Iran and the fact sanctions since 1979 on Iran have been largely ineffective. What's the solution here? Do you want to actually tell us whether or not you agree with Cotton?

I'm from Arkansas as well and I regret that my state made the monumental mistake of electing another rino to the Senate. Some months ago, I wrote a letter to then Representative Cotton , when I actually thought we had a voice, expressing my dissatisfaction at our prospects of getting involved in the Syria affair. In that letter I expressed my opinion that Mr. Cotton should not listen to John McCain because he was insane from his Vietnam imprisonment and was trying to vindicate himself of his treason by waging war on any and all adversaries of the US.

I received a Motor Voter confirmation card in the mail today. Guess where it went? I'll not waste any more time going to the polls.

The diplomatic efforts are failing for a reason.

Iran already rejected just about everything a few weeks ago.

Obama needs a blame initiative when the talks finally fail.

Remember the Syrian "civil war" started right after Iran, Iraq, and Syria signed an agreement to build a natural gas pipeline from Iran to Syria, and extend to Europe.

Think about who stands to lose if that pipeline actually happens (hint: there's two major players who would lose big).

But I will take all the blame if people need a scratching post.

I wonder what has changed????
