Lucky you. Seems they are learning to question everything. My 3 yr old grandson, after his dad told him something, went to him and asked " Now, how do you know that"?

Makes one wonder if it is instinct or learned.

A little of both probably! One has to have the idea to begin with, and somebody else has to nurture that idea along in to bloom
