There are ignorant idiots in all walks of life unfortunately.

As for these scum? Using Michael Brown as an excuse to punch someone in the face, just demonstrates the absence of the old grey matter.

The lack of intervention from any of the other passengers is something that people have become used to, almost expect I suppose?

PUNCH someone in the face? How about calling it what it is? BEATING HIM.

Killing people is against the law.

Actually there is NO law that states that.

A good lawyer could make a winning case for the defendant in most of the 'knockout' videos I've seen as well as this one. The victim was surrounded, had nowhere to go, outnumbered, and was not the aggressor.

ETA: At that point all he would have to say is "I was in fear for my life". Innocent or hung jury guaranteed... unless you live in CA or NY of course.

There's no law that states it's illegal to kill people?

To the OP - I see I've already been beaten (no pun intended) to the Holder and Sharpton comments. Dang.

Murder yes, kill no. I know you are a cop so if it exists it should be easy to find.

Killing doesn't mean murdering.

Murder is an unlawful killing. Ergo, a lawful killing isn't murder.

Killing somebody can be either lawful or unlawful. No, there's no law against lawfully killing somebody. Yes, there are laws against unlawfully killing somebody.

That's exactly my point. Has been since the beginning..

And my point is that the blanket statement of "there's no law against killing people" is incorrect and untrue. Otherwise there would be no crime of murder, since murder involves killing somebody.

If it's lawful, it's not murder. If it's unlawful, it's murder and still means "you" killed someone.

Uh... Bullspit.

Quit justifying these criminals.

A thwarted criminal made up a reason to assault a white man.

The train was full of "brothers" and "sisters" but the thug didn't ask any one of them for their phone.

Anti-white racism is tacitly condoned in America these days as anti-black racism was condoned before, that allows asshats to self justify their own violent criminal behavior.

The thing about racists is that at their core they just HATE, period. White or black racists just want to hurt people. That's why klan members and thugs alike also perpetrate violence on their own races as well.

Then you take that person who just wants to hurt people and give them tacit approval.

THERE IS NO LAW AGAINST KILLING PEOPLE

That's why we have homicide detectives, yet when people are found guilty they are guilty of murder

killing, AKA homicide is not illegal

To begin with, not all homicides are crimes. Homicides include all killings of humans. Many homicides, such as murder and manslaughter, violate criminal laws. Others, such as a killing committed in justified self-defense, are not criminal. Illegal killings range from manslaughter to murder, with multiple degrees of each representing the gravity of the crime.

Homicide (to kill a human)

You are trying to equate 'kill' to 'murder'
I am stating 'kill' as 'KILL'

I watched the video, and am not surprised no one helped, considering the still shots of the passengers. Most of them probably thought what was happening was acceptable, since what happened in this case is so commonplace these days.

You're right about your comment as well; if someone had shot them, they'd be charged with a crime. That's been the norm for years now. Still, can't say I disagree with you. People should be armed, and those three should rightfully have been shot dead.

I know I'm going to take heat for this, but...

I don't know, maybe because the whole bus was full of ignorant black racist cowards?

Reverse the color...

If that had been a black guy getting punched by a white guy on a bus full of black people, things would have been different. They help out each other no matter the situation just because they have that "we've got to stick together" mentality.

Enjoy your petty skin color rivalries, we already took control
and we get along just fine regardless of color. Its probably what this country needs anyways.

By that standard I should have free reign to just punch tons of folks out because my family were dirty potato farmers, green n-words, bog jumpers, micks, and paddies. I wasn't aware that gave me the right to be angry and abuse other people because generations ago ignorance reigned supreme.

Not blaming them is what keeps it going. I blame them. I blame anybody of any race who can't keep their hands to themselves. I don't give a big damn what happened to their great, great, great, great, aunt whom they never knew nor suffered along with.

Many of us have heritages which would entitle us to act like animals if we so chose. But we don't, because that's not what is right and we weren't the ones who suffered those atrocities.

No need to go all caps-lock rage on me. You wanted to argue semantics, and here we are.

But thanks for explaining homicide detectives to me. Always wondered what they did

Please explain to me what the modern black youth and their smartphones, Beats By Dre and latest Air Jordans have in common with a black slave that is making you understand why they act the way they do.

Probably because I'm older than you and I remember the civil rights movement in the 60s and 70s. Nope in no way was I referring to a slave in the 1800s I was referring to something that happened barely 50 years ago.

I've started your posts because you have a good point. And I did not defend them in anyway. What you must remember in the US civil rights is barely 50 years old, I can understand why some are still angry but I don't condone it.

I'm glad I could help, I've heard a lot about how standards for police officers have been lowered substantially, just wanted to make sure you knew what your job was as well as those around you.
