THis all started lastnight when i was asleep i dunno if i had a lucid dream or what was going on but
ill explain what i dreamt. I dreamt i was walking down the road in my holler which is paved and i went
to my brothers house that he used to own which he doesnt now.. Well i noticed i had on a hooded coat that i always
wear. and it was in the evening i guess it was pretty dreary outside. Darkish and dingy. Well i somehow
used lucid dreaming to tell myself i could super jump and i did i super jumped on top of the house and broke through the window
and there was this girl there i cant remember anyting about her and i dunno if i tried anything i dont recall.

Anyways this evening i went to the store and it was raining and i had on my hooded jacket same color as in my dream.
well the store was closed and i went to another store about 30 miles out just for the hell out of cause i didnt want
to go shopping at the store locally. So just at complete random i went to the other store. I got out and it was raining
i left me hood down and i ran into the store bought my stuff and came back out and it was raining a little harder.

So what do i do put on my hood and walk in the rain.. And for a brief moment i was caught up in my enviroment.
It was like i was in the same kinda setting as my dream took place. The problem is none of this was actually planned.
It was like my dream came to pass but was different. Anyways there was this really pretty girl i couldnt help
but to notice. Now keep in mind there was a girl in this house in my dream and now there is this girl who caught my
eye in the store. I sometimes have these dreams and it blends reality with the dream world.

So here is my theory.. What if everything has alreaded ended and we are playing it out like a timeline?
Like a movie that plays out from now till we die. Our actions we do have already happened. We done got married or we done
already had our life played out but we are just now in play mode and we are working our way toward the end
of the movie of lie. Now no im not on any drugs or anything its just wierd how my dream and my real life seemed today.

Another thing that fascinates me is the fact that we see a stars light and its light is centrys or decades old already.
What would that star see if it was looking at earths light once we got to the star itself. .

If life has already played out and we are on a timeline it would explain alot of things.. Like my dream and my ability
to see into the future part of my life.. aka fast forwarding a few hours. And it would kinda makes sense since time is a funny thing.. We already see light thats that old yet it shines who isnt to say the world has done ended and we are just working our way through time till that point?

Just makes a person think sometimes i guess..

Kinda like starlight, that started millions of years ago that we can only just now see?

That was very interesting and thought provoking. Light travels through space before we can see it with our eyes.

Light is our indicator that there is a future within the distance from point A to point B. Point A being the present moment, observing, Point B the source of light we see with latency.

The idea that the external reality is within forward motion, and we are living within these moments, there is also an observer of reality in motion, before it manifests

You observed in your dream, while being in yhe dreams moments, events take place., that "mirrored" events in waking reality.

You observed something in another space (dream state; it's depth, sensations, happenings, engages etc), whatever eyes you used to observe that dream anyways, near same events you observed in waking reality.

Who are you too observe both realities in different bodies and states? And where does the light from your dream world come from, and what faculty are you using to "see" in this dream state

Things I have ways wonder. .. it makes you think of the third eye, how you see in dream worlds and what everyday Joe calls "imagination". Your seeing, feeling, observing, engaging, experiencing, within the dream world.

Parallel to what you do in waking reality.

Light is fast, but I belive thought is faster. I the observer think in my mind before the brain processes the thought via neurological wiring.

What is doing the thinkin? What is seeing light? What is living in a body, and mirroring such a reality in its dream body?

I love this stuff. Thanks for the mental amuse, such ideas are so interesting to me I could chat all night..

I've had a pretty crazy idea like this for many years aswell

Basically follows the big crunch end-of-the-universe scenario, except it's more of a 'big bounce' where spacetime begins to recede as opposed to expanding, time begins to reverse and the whole universe reverts back to the singularity, another big bang happens (the same big bang, the same matter and energy being used and distributed exactly the same throughout the cosmos) and 13.7 billion years later you wake up and live your life again. Pretty crazy, but I love the idea of being stuck in an infinite causality loop

World events do seem somewhat surreal at the given moment but wouldn't you have had to experience the experience of questioning the reality of this experience already? Wouldn't every action, no matter how insignificant replay like deja vu?

I just happened to watch the movie 'Predestination' tonight and it was a total head scratcher. Maybe it's not so much a life and death loop as a timeline loop.

So because you experienced something that was sort of like a dream you had (not really, but whatever), you somehow have decided that "the world has ended"....Alrighty then....I"m not even going to ask about the "proof" mentioned in the title....

I long ago suspected that choice even mundane choice is an illusion

But not a forever illusion, we do get free by eventually dying physically

Hmm...I've wondered about this myself especially since I read, "Dead Mens Secrets" several years ago now. It puzzles me how we can be looking into the past whenever we look at the stars. It's truly amazing!

I used to watch "Fringe" and love the episode, "The Road Not Taken" (S01E19). I suggest you check it out. I really loved the way Walter demonstrates how every choice we make creates a new path and a new set of possible choices. Thus, there's a parallel world of unlimited choices or roads not taken "out there." Anyway I mention it because in the episode Olivia catches a glimpse of a parallel world and so it's possible that our dreams are glimpses to possible futures. Being a Christian I personally believe that our dreams reflect our physical reality while our physical reality reflects the ultimate spiritual reality that is to come. So as a firm believer in the veracity of the Christian Bible as the Word of God I believe that Bible prophecies about Jesus Christ's second coming, triumph over Satan, and the New Everlasting Age is as sure as the sun rising tomorrow!
Like Nicholas Cage says in the film, "Next": "It happened. It just hasn't happened yet." So perhaps, as your dream seemed to hint at, the future is already written and we are all just playing out the scripts pre-written for us...

I gotta mention as well a dream of my niece's, since it parallels with your own experience. She told me the other day that she dreamed she was at a grocery store and she was with her parents and sisters. She then separated from them to look for some particular brand of candy. Suddenly the lights all went out and there was a power outage. She couldn't see anything, but then when the lights went on there were gunshots and terrorists were killing people in the store. She woke up and forgot about the dream. The next day she went out with her boyfriend and they went to a local mall where her boyfriend worked. She had a craving for those candies, which she hadn't eaten for years. So they went to the grocery store to buy some. When they left they headed over to the store her boyfriend worked at and found it was shut. They waited around until it reopened. He asked what was going on and they explained they had a power outrage, which for some reason had only affected their store while every other store in the mall was fine. They couldn't explain it. It was then that my niece remembered her dream and told us later about it.

I admit it's a puzzle how we preview hints of our future in our sleep, but it's rarely exactly how we dream it. Of course when they are 100% accurate they're called premonitions or visions not simply dreams. It makes me wonder when was the future written? Before time even began? And do our lives on earth mirror the workings of our genetic makeup somewhat i.e. make choice A and these consequences will inevitably follow, make choice B and these consequences will inevitably follow, make choice C and these consequences will inevitably follow, etc...

Uh that's beautiful and I kind of came to a similiar picture: information doesn't know time. What if the very lowest layer of reality is a flowing energy wave, consisting of matter defining information? Like the uncertainty relation, with the tiniest particles they can be at every point of their orbit at the same time. Why? Because they are an information wave, the fabric of conscience, or shared information.
That would really explain a lot. I call it "pool of thoughtsmash", but "infinite information wave" is maybe more precise.

Thanks for the info guys i thought i was crazy for posting this. After waking up this morning and reading it. It does sound
kinda far fetched. About the world already ending and my proof. Maybe that was a little much and maybe it wasnt.
What im saying is.. What if everything thats already gonna happen to us as individuals has already happened. We have already died but we are in this moment on the timeline of our lives. My name is greg so lets say for example. Its like putting a dvd called greg in a dvd player. Now we already know the dvd is made and it has already had the story done. And we press play on this dvd and the movie starts. Ok it starts off you know you being made.. And then it shows you being born. The movie is a time line and we are playing through it. Noone knows truely how time works. I mean we all have guesses on time andhow it relates to gravity and space and things. Ever have a dream about something and something close to what you dream actually happens? This is what im getting at about being on a time line and things have already happened. I also had another theory i had toyed with but its still theory and its crazy and counters what this one is.. What if when we dream we are touching into another universe another paralell(sp?) one where. We can catch glimpses of things. Maybe we use that third eye mentioned above to become someone on that plane or "posssess" but have no control over them. Cause ive had some pretty wild dreams almost like whole new worlds things id never could imagine before landscapes and things.... Just something to think about.. Im not big into religion so i dunno how we got here or why we are here. But i do like to theorize
Thanks for reading guys.

Great post. There are times where I feel the exact same way. I'll be doing something and then all of a sudden I feel like if I am there but not really there. Like I have been there before and am just going through the motions. I feel "dead" in a sense where I am aware of being conscious but my body feels heavy and at times unable to move. I literally have to bring myself back to reality and place myself back to where I am. Not only that but this past two years, I've been noticing that my thoughts are being projected more into reality. Most of the things I imagine, start happening.

Which gets me thinking... is it really me just sending out energy into the universe OR am I somehow just an "energy" going through the motions of a timeline like you said?

Thats what i often wonder. Whats funny though is as someone said.. Everything we percieve and see and touch and feel is in our heads its where everything takes place.. Now think about that a min thats a powerful statement. I still think out dreams are linked to another universe... but back on my theory about the time line.. ive had too many dreams happen that i cant explain that has come to pass in reality.. they was not exact but they was close.. I dreamt one time someone called my dad looking for a motor and maybe a day or two later my uncle called told my dad his car motor went out.... Things like that .. is what im basing my theory on..

In a way I guess the end has already happened. Past present and future all co-exist. The only way to distinguish one from the other is your particular vantage point. From the perspective of today, tomorrow is future, yesterday is past. From Tomorrow's perspective, today is past. And so on. Its the basis for the belief that free will is non-existent. We all know you cant change the past. Even the future is the past looking at it from a point farther in the future. Since you cant change the past, you cant change the future either. (big logic leap there folks...)

Or, as Douglas Adams said, "There is a theory that states the moment anyone figures out how the universe actually works it will immediately cease to exist and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states this has already happened..."

Nice mind bender. I like the idea and we'll probably never truly know for sure but to think about it question it and try to determine im sure will get us all to a state of our own reality however it may be even if were what creates our own realitys and your just a figment of my imagination in my own reality played out from a life once lived
love it

What i think is we are like SIMS in a giant computer 50k years from now set back in this time. Where they have learned how to model the human brain in software. Maybe our existance from the beginning of time is just some , well college project that someone created in software that he will run for one semester , which to us is billions of years. Then he will erase everything after he gets a grade. I guess you could try turning around really fast befor the video card gets a chance to redraw what is behind you.

I love this theory. And it isn't the first time I've heard it either. My boyfriend and I have chatted about it as well. He himself believes that everything has already happened, that everything that you encounter in life has already happened and is set in stone, I guess.

Its very interesting and a brain teaser. I would like to look into this further.

If anyone can throw some links my way on this whole idea I'd be much obliged.

Thanks for the interesting post.

Well considering we do not understand dreams, your theory, can be correct.. Some of my most profound moments in my life have something to do with a dream like state I am in. I think we have a capability to perceive things in our alpha state we get into. Now trying to make sense of what we perceive is the problem. Our society seems to distract us with material and rules in the conscious state that prevents us really to develop in a spiritual or should I say unconscious side of our existence. Life is complex especially a human life, most of the complexity is self driven or manifested by ourselves. When we were children it was and is easier to to explore those reaches of the unknown.

I think we are part of the complex universe, and we are connected to it, I also think in death we become part of it as well, we are made up of energy we produce it to function or we utilize it to function we can use our mind to try and comprehend all that is around us, all in all the cardigan life wears has many colors and for each of us the color can be different or the same color. It is our creativity that hinders our understanding and helps us understand our reality.

I think our minds are developed just enough to recognize our close surroundings further than that the threads that hold our reality together start to come undone and our understanding our being becomes threatened, so trying to drift further out to understand it is dangerous for ones being, in our material world we exist in.

In any case thank you for sharing your experience, in any case try not to let your dream drive you mad, in trying to understand it.
