My comments were before later press conferences. The one I just saw has a spokesman claiming the pilot and co pilot conversing over an intercom system…

And the copilot interrupted his training for some period of time saying they don't know why.

Yes, I checked and there are already a ton of different pages for this guy, ranging from just his name to stuff like, "Murderer Andreas Lubitz"

I'm guessing the page the other poster is referring to is fake, but who knows.

The CEO of Lufthansa just said that there are no psychological Tests for Pilots. Just an annual medical test.

But what then? The door mechanism would have to be faulty. The co-pilot would have to have scrolled the altimeter window to a lower setting and then pressed a button all before passing out? Nobody knows who created the page and why, but in their own description it said that the page had been created with 'humour'..... I am glad the page has been removed because their sense of humour is disgusting.

Is it definite that the co-pilot deliberately kept the pilot out?

Apparently its an electronic lock, switch activated from inside the cabin. He locks it to keep others from entering while the pilot is away.

From what I just heard, there is a code key pad, a proper code sequence entered by flight crew from outside the cabin sounds a "loud" buzzer inside the cabin, letting the flight crew know there is an entry request by authorized personnel.

On some panes there is a CCTV monitor in the cabin to see who is outside the cabin, "but not this plane". There was apparently some back and forth between the pilot and copilot before he attempted forced entry. That must be some vault door. It was designed to keep out the 'terrs' and worked in reverse, it seems.

These statements are from the press conference being held in France and a CNN review panel, I put their comments in quotations, here. I have no other sources or know the extent of their security measures.

Have they released the passenger list yet. Because if the plane was brought down, say by mind control, it have had to be for a reason.

I know this already. However it can be decided that an attempt to access from outside may be denied. The only way that can happen is from manual intervention. The emergency access code is only if the pilots are dead or unresponsive. So unless the door was faulty Mr. Co-pilot denied entry. Twice.

Where did you read about the back and forth? I've only heard that the Captain was knocking and eventually yelling for access. I heard that the first officer didn't make a sound except for normal breathing. a reply to: intrptr

I found the Facebook page of Andreas and then when I went back into it the heading had changed to the one you can see in the screengrab which I took. Not 10mins later the Facebook page was removed. I don't know for sure that this was his Facebook page but even if it wasn't ISIS is claiming responsibility. Isis in France as the title suggests.

To me, it seems insane that there is a third door lock option where it cannot be overridden from the outside. That just instantly sounded like potential problems to me.

But thats the whole point to prevent entry.

The design did its job. How ironic.

I'd already posted the link to the Google Cache of his now erased Facebook page earlier today, though it may have been another thread.

When was the page erased is a question to ask maybe, and by whom.

When I hear a story like this I think of the Chicago mob. They were really experts of taking themselves out of any built in controls of crime prevention or justice. While the goals are different, I'm guessing some of the techniques are used by other organized groups.

They make sure they keep people with clean records so they can be planted in positions of power (people who do background checks, evaluations ect).

They get people do criminals acts for them by either blackmailing or lying about the true reason (example, hey my kid was sick and I ran home to check on them, I didn't get a chance to install that program on the plane, will you let me do it now?)

It's common to get someone addicted to drugs or get a therapist to manipulate a person

They absolutely encourage mocking of conspiracy theorists.
