The Obama administration has granted whistleblower status to Dr. William Thompson, a senior epidemiologist at the CDC who co-authored and published research on the MMR vaccine for the CDC in 2004. The study hid data linking autism in African American boys to the MMR vaccine. Dr. Thompson blew the whistle last summer. As an official whistleblower, he will be immune to prosecution for his testimony to Congress.

Dr. Julie Gerberding was CDC director when the falsified study was published. Gerberding left the CDC for the position as president of Merck’s vaccine division, and is now an executive vice president of the corporation. Merck is now the sole manufacturer of the measles vaccine.

DISCLOSURE

I have an anti-vaccine bias for three main reasons:
1. No one understands the human immune system well enough to know how to tinker with it, or to ensure that any tinkering is safe and effective;
2. Vaccines are well-known to be chock full of prions and misfolded proteins - some are created in the manufacturing process, while others result from contaminated components - not all cause disease, but no attempts are made to identify or filter out these potentially disease-causing molecules; and
3. Before vaccines, there was no way to fight epidemic viral diseases, and vaccines remain the only weapon in that arsenal - so I believe governments push vaccines only because they have nothing else to offer.
[NOTE: I already knew the CDC is in bed with Big Pharma, and am not surprised to hear that the shenanigans extend to vaccines. I recently learned this practice has a name - it’s called regulatory capture.]

After several decades of studying the scientific literature regarding vaccines, following the money trails, and interviewing many dozens of toxicologists, immunologists, research physicians, pediatricians, and medical journalists the vaccine paradigm can now be accurately deconstructed with real independent science. This looks like just the tip of the iceberg. As quoted above, Dr. Thompson "released thousands of pages of CDC documents and research data to Congress" that unveil the CDC's "long history of fraudulent studies and medical cover-ups that hid the serious failures and health risks of vaccines".

I have a feeling that when he testifies to Congress that's when the juicy stuff will come out Sofi my friend I feel we haven't even received .000000000001 percent of information.

I have a 6 year old who had a reaction to the MMR vaccine,he had the rash,fever& migraines for a couple of months which was hell. I'm in Australia & I had to register as a conscientious objector because I refuse to put him through it. My local health care practitioners called me weekly informing me of what a bad mother I am for not gettinghim done,over here they get $ for every kid they vaccinate so no wonder they are more than happy to stick their heads in the sand & make it hard to say no. My son has been diagnosed as having high functioning Autism just recently & has a cousin who also reacted to MMR & is also Autistic. Go figure

I share your vaccine bias. I have never been anti-vaccine just anti-bad science. I knew there was something wrong with the science way back in 1981 when I read my first vaccine insert. Using mercury as a preservative for infant medications is the worst kind of science.

This could blow the lid off the whole scam.

You think if anyone really wanted to look hard at health outcomes, they could study the effects in animal studies. Nope quite the opposite. Proposing an animal study of vaccines will literally get you bounced from any mainstream University in the US.

The few studies that were published are real clear that damage is being done. (Monkeys) (Dogs) The damage is worse, the younger the target is. That basically makes the Hep B at birth a true crime against humanity.

This is another one of those topics that has convinced me that the "scientific community" is the same as it was back when tobacco science was all the rage!

Money can do some wild things and when it comes to the careers and profits of scientists you bet your a$$ they will run along with the program just like everyone else.

I was unaware of this William Thompson and am happy to see that he is able to move forward with his much needed blowing of the whistle!

The whole vaccine scam is a nice clear example of how corrupt western medicine truly became after the Flexner Report in 1913!

The Dr. is saying you SHOULD get vaccinated. He isn't a whistle blower saying vaccines are bad. He saying there was evidence saying :

It is possible the data was simply wrong. Taken from snopes:

There's no biologically plausible reason why there would be an effect observed in African-Americans but no other race and, more specifically than that, in African-American males. In the discussion, Hooker does a bunch of handwaving about lower vitamin D levels and the like in African American boys, but there really isn't a biologically plausible mechanism to account for his observation, suggesting that it's probably spurious. There are multiple other studies, many much larger than this one, that failed to find a correlation between MMR and autism

Not vaccinating your kids is right up there with not letting a hospital operate on your kid because you believe God will cure him. It's sad world we live in that children should be made to suffer because of parents weird ideas. Unfortunately all the people who remember what it was like before the vaccines are almost all dead. Do you hink the native Americans would have vaccinated their children has they known the diseases of the "White"man would kill 90% of them?

That's the logical outcome of this "revelation," but anti-vaxers don't want to look too closely at it. The study that allegedly found a link between MMR and autism in AA males also found no evidence of such a link in AA females or persons of other races, any sex. That blows most of their claims out of the water. I just loaded Age of Autism's front page -- not a single AA face to be seen.

In any case, the re-analysis of the data that was supposed to show this link was so bad it was savaged on the blogosphere and retracted by the journal. Even the "CDC whistleblower" himself, who presumably believes in this connection, issued a statement in which he said the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks, and he advises parents of any race to get their kids vaccinated. Those are facts that anti-vaxers never bring up when they trot out the whistleblower. They don't want anyone to know that their purported hero, the one person who presumably has complete knowledge of the CDC's corruption and incompetence and possesses the moral character to bring it to light, is actually in favor of universal vaccination.
