Auxiliary officer accused of hacking into nypd computers

NEW YORK --

A New York City Auxiliary Deputy Inspector is under arrest and facing charges that he hacked into a restricted NYPD computer and other sensitive law enforcement databases.

I very much doubt he had to hack anything.
just copied a bunch of stuff to USB
Probably just a scammer who was too greedy and stupid to control himself..

I think it's particularly sickening that this guy went after people who had been injured. I'm curious to know what his endgame was, and what he would've done had things gone to a trial. I mean, once he calls another person or an insurance company, then what?

eta: BWA HA HA I clicked it thinking it WAS the explanation of how the edits happened. I was prepared to be unconvinced.
