If the police union president was in negotiations with someone about something critical to the well-being of police and almost half the union reps in the union wrote a letter saying naw don't negotiate with this dude he'll be gone soon and we'll do what we want....

Yeah...just imagine what would happen.

I told you so folks that these GOP morons are among the worst section of humanity.

Its ashamed because there are may great Americans in history from the GOP.
But not today’s GOP that has evolved to become a group characterized by loathsome ignorance and bigotry.

But this is only the beginning, it will be increasingly worst when these immoral ignorant fools exercise the power some clueless voters have invested them with

When the GOP took over congress I wrote an op and warned of the damage that would be done because of their power

This is just the beginning… stay tuned they’ll be much more

Understand that the modern GOP is in the same category as an ISIS and the other negative poles in the planet that will produce war and destruction through their own ignorance.

Remember the last time the GOP had absolute power: 911 and the worst act in American history, the Iraq war

People in this thread keep making fun of Rubio, claiming he doesn't understand Iran hates Isis. I disagree. They may be on opposite sides ideologically but most people don't understand that they both want a caliphate. The real powers in Iran are twelvers - they want to to bring about the Mahdi and a caliphate and their beliefs dictate that is done through pure chaos and war. Their beliefs are very much to make friends with enemies until a caliphate is established and THEN work out which flavor of Islam runs it. Not the other way around.

This thread is full of people that really REALLY want Iran to "fire first" before they will accept who they really are, what, in their own words, want, and understand their ultimate endgame. Negotiations don't change religious belief or goals.

Every time Hezbollah and Hamas fire rockets its Iran firing them by proxy. With Iranian special forces looking over their shoulder. And do they care that everybody knows this? No.

Well hell now days it looks like the GOP was in the same page as Iran anyway. Iran didn't like Sadam one little bit. Sniff.

So really what did the GOP do but Iran's bidding. Now Obama. The whole war is starting to look like a long term Rep/Dem effort to fight Iran's wars for them capped off by a nice little nuke deal. WOW! Thats teamwork guys.

Haha. How on Earth could clarifying the powers that POTUS and Congress have to negotiate treaties constitute treason or even a violation of the Logan Act? We should be concerned about a president who is unilaterally negotiating with a adversarial country. It saddens me to see people so blinded by political bias. Nothing will come of this petition, it's just a silly waste of time.

As this is such a long thread and I don't care to read every post I'll just say that the obama admin. is not going to do anything against these shists because he is to afraid of retaliation. He himself is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors and if he tries anything he may find himself being impeached as retaliation.

I think that's the problem.

Too many of these people have dirty hands on both sides of the fence, so nobody wants to throw the first rock because they themselves are living in a glass house.

This seems to be the problem going back for decades now, Republicans and Democrats alike.

Someone can explain what's treasonous about it? I dont know the content of the letter, but we know pretty much for certain that Iran is not and hasnt been making nukes or material for them.

I think we should cut of funding to Israrl for Netanyahu knowingly lying about Iran and nukes. He said they'd have them in amatter of months (years ago now) despite havibg Iintelligence reports to the contrary. HE TRIED TO DRAG US INTO A POTENTIAL WORLD WAR ON A LIE! We should try to fix up relations with Iran and ythen we would have an ACTIVE ally against ISIS. Not saying cut of Israel entirely but definitely no kissing up and over looking war crimes anymore.

Well, I think a lot of us realized this election cycle was gonna get real ugly. Everything Obama has been involved with has been ugly all along. He has certainly not been a victim of anything under any circumstances.

I smell a rat.

I don't disagree with a single point you make. The entire system is backwards, and at this point it's ingrained so much that I don't think it will ever truly be fixed or is even fixable. What do we do with a building that is no longer useful and poses a danger to those around it?

Renovate it to fix the structure and find new owners who will take care of it.

Its now 282,456! How many will it take to ensure they will be tried for treason? 1m, 10m, 100m?

I don't know what's treasonous about a letter that says." Don't make a peace deal with the president because us or the next president will undo it."

That doesn't seem treasonous to you?

They wont be tried for treason since they never committed treason. This is a perfect example of the difference between a court of law and the court of public opinion.

This is absolutely hilarious. How about the treasonous acts of our dear leader? Like leaving the border wide open? Go behind the back of congress? Executive action on issues he has no authority over? If the Republicans had a spine they'd start the impeachment process tomorrow! Unreal what a backwards country we live in.
