Pondering Wanderings (Poem)

While sitting at this desk of mine,
trying to find ways to pass the time,
I came across a website so cool,
It had posts from those both smart and fools.

I found answers to many things I have pondered,
in all My years on this planet I have wandered,
seeing new ways to look at old things,
reveling in the joys each new path brings.

Like who would have known You could do all that,
from only the contents in a hat.
Or know that one could really fly,
that many miles up into the night sky?

I have found out all that,
and so much more.
Each day that I open up These ATS doors.

Ummm...Very nice Syx...That's also one of the things I love about ATS...I'm glad to see you jumping into the poetry pool...

Your going to find that you are your own best (and worst) critic...I've spent half a lifetime trying to get all of that stuff out of my head and onto the page...other times I would struggle for hours trying to get a line as right as I thought it needed to be...only to rewrite it out of existence...

Thanx Bro! I appreciate it! And Oh,I have already found out about being My own worst Critic.
When I first started doing these I would pour over the text for a long while.
Now I just let it flow off of My fingertips, and let it rock! I have another one I am going post soon. And am working on two short stories. News at 11:00! LOL!!! I have more in My Profile if You care to read some. Short stories too.
