Asteroid Belt will form into a planet in the future.

I will say sorry before hand if offend anyone, but all this stuff from the bible that lostinspace is mentioning is crap. I don't think anything written in the bible was real. It was just a way to try to explain things to people so that they would understand, therefore the stuff about Wan is fake. SOrry again if I offended anyone.

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men...But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great (hissing) noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (or discovered)...Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be disolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Here is where I picture the asteroid belt being melted back together into the world that it once was. Also at the same time the earth will crack open lava vents exposing the works within it, as if the earth is going to resurface itself but not be destroyed. Possibly during this resurfacing it would be hell on earth because of the extreme forces at work.

Here is another view as to why the so called planets Mercury, Mars and Pluto do not belong where they orbit. Notice in the oribital path of the planets, the only ones that cannot keep an equal distance around the sun are these three.

Did Saturn have a gas twin that is now the asteroid belt?

Then there's the gas giant that stands alone in the center of the rest.

"Now the room within those pillars was the most holy place; but the rest of the room was the tabernacle, which was open for the priests. However, this proportion of the measures of the tabernacle proved to be an imitation of the system of the world; for that third part thereof which was within the four pillars, to which the priests were not admitted, is, as it were, a heaven peculiar to God. But the space of the twenty cubits, is, as it were, sea and land, on which men live, and so this part is peculiar to the priests only."

"Over against this table, near the southern wall, was set a candlestick of cast gold, hollow within, being of the weight of one hundred pounds, which the Hebrews call Chinchares ,. if it be turned into the Greek language, it denotes a talent. It was' made with its knops, and lilies, and pomegranates, and bowls (which ornaments amounted to seventy in all); by which means the shaft elevated itself on high from a single base, and spread itself into as many branches as there are planets, including the sun among them. The Holy chamber represents the physical realm and Most Holy chamber represents the spirit realm. The seven lamps represent the seven planets in orbit around the sun, but the sun is not one of the lamps. The sun is probably the whole stand that holds it all together.

Its a waste of time trying to explain these things to people like this...

If we call them insane, they think you are persecuting them, and believe that part of their book that says people will call those who know the truth insane applies to them.

If we counter their arguments, they will believe that part of their book that says we are all deluded by their god applies to us.

Its impossible to reason with someone who believes in the bible as every possible way of thinking outside of it is closed to them.

The writers of the bible were geniuses. And evil to the core.

The thought has always been that the great deluge was meant mainly to wipe out a wicked generation, but the real purpose was to limit the life span of the human race because of this one comment made by God:

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
-Genesis 6:5

Here is where God determines to reduce the life expectancy of mankind:

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."
-Genesis 6:3

Life span of pre flood people:

Adam - 930 years
Seth - 912 years
Enosh - 905 years
Kenan - 910
Mahalalel - 895 years
Methuselah - 969 years
and so on...

After the flood Noah lived to the age of 950 years.
Longevity began to shorten gradually from generation to generation and that after some 500 years after the flood Abraham is reported as only living to the age of 175.

Flavius Josephus even states this same thought in his writings.
Chapter 3 "Concerning the flood.."
He states: "Now God loved this man for his righteousness: yet he not only condemned those other men for their wickedness, but determined to destroy the whole race of mankind, and to make another race that should be pure of wickedness; and cutting short their lives, and making their years not so many as they formerly lived, but one hundred and twenty only."
