I thought you all might get a kick out of this YouTube video in which a lion walks up to a car and opens the door of the lady filming her and her pride. No humans were harmed in the making of this video.

That's what you call canned food. They're lucky it didn't get in.

You would have to be an absolute moron to drive a car full of people, into a wildlife park like that, without locking all the doors. Safety first people, safety first.

People ought to pay respect to the wildlife, and understand that many species are actually quite clever in some respects, and not just monkeys and rodents, but big cats and elephants, giraffes, and many others too!

Maybe hand out these car stickers before they enter the safari park?

For some reason people think animals are stupid

Predatory animals ARE NOT DUMB

People who assume they are, are the dumb ones

Not saying animals are stupid, but, the lioness bit the handle or used her tongue and the door opened by luck. Lions will bite any part of a car (tyres, bumpers etc.), aka curiosity. This lioness just got "lucky" with the door handle.

Can a pride learn from that? Yes. Common practice? Not at all.

But, when we go to the Kruger, or other national wildlife parks, we keep the doors locked and windows closed at all times. It is common sense which many people, incl S.Africans, ignore.

Cheers
