i am all for religious freedom , but since when did " freedom " subsume the right to project your will onto someone else ?

the issue that has got me riled is :

idaho religious medical laws

the TL
R synopsis is that several states have laws that allow people to withold medical treatment from others citing religious freedom

just WTF ?????????

it gets worse when supporters of this idiocy attempt to " explain " it

if a person wants to eschew medical or any other intervention based on thier own beliefs , then thats fine [ assuming they are clinically competant to make such descisions ]

but to project your beliefs onto someone else is IMHO beyond the pale

this is not religious freedom - its bare naked projection

discuss

True. It's the same thing they were doing to gay people to try to stop them from being married.
