PEDOPHILES, its just sexual. They are predators who only care about their sexual needs. They are completely different to gay, or straight people who are in normal relationshios because there is love, its not just sex.

Love is a choice.

You're off to a bad start. Both science and theology disagree with this statement.

"Love" is scientifically an involuntary chemical reaction of oxytocin and dopamine.

Biblically, "love" is given to man by God.

Neither of these are a choice, sorry.

Yes, the feeling we call "love" can be manufacture chemically.

Was this the kind of love what I was talking about? No.

Yes, the emotional form of love can be is produced by eating chocolate
or by smoking a joint. But even then a choice is involved. While it is a
choice to eat chocolate and/or THC laden brownies, this was not the
choice to love that was talking about.

I said: "Love is a choice" and by that I mean we choose to forgive,
we choose, to be patient, to be compassionate, to encourage,
to stand for justice, to liberate the oppressed, to oppose evil,
and in short, to live a righteous life.

You said, "Biblically, 'love' is given to man by God."

First, you can drop any reference to your opinion being "Biblical"
and simple state your opinion. Be honest about it being your own
person view. Calling it "Bbilical" carries no wieght with me.

I don't know what you are driving at, but it seems like you
are trying to say "love is given to man by God" and therefore
it is not a choice that we ourselves make.

I find this train of thought is be both irrational and dangerous.
It is irrational because it is illogical, and it is dangerous because
it such extreme irrational thought leads to self-destructive behavior.

Are you self-destructive?

That too, is a choice.
It is a choice, not to love yourself.

Love is not a feeling, it is a choice.
Feelings come and go, but love remains.
Love is a choice to stop valuing the valueless.
Love is a choice to live a righteous life.

Sexual sin is only offensive to God
because it hurts people.

What? If you're talking about rape, then yes. (In terms of it being offensive, however - I'd say it is offensive to PEOPLE, where "God" appears to be largely absent and/or oblivious as to the subject. Only PEOPLE are hacking each other to death and all that fun stuff. I look around, and no where do I see "God" here to care either way, or to fix anything. I see a few people - including the Pope, and the Dalai Lama...but that's it.)
I don't know your definition of "sexual sin." Rape, pedophilia, and assault....yes, those are offensive to everyone - because they hurt people.

Could you explain your stance on what you consider to be 'sexual sin'?

People say sin hurts God. How can this be true?
People say sexual sin is anything other than "straight" sex.
How can this be true? I find both to be silly and wrong.

God created sex, but we think our sex acts offend him? Really?
No, I don't think so. IF there is a sexual sin, it is only offensive
to God because it hurts people.

God wants us to stop placing value on the valueless,
why? because that hurts us.... and our relationship
with HIm is damaged when we hurt each other.

You asked what I consider to be a sexual sin?
I don't know of any. Sin is simply the mistake
we make when we value the valueless. What
follows that is sinful (and the effect that sin
has can be many things).

Sin is the world we see.

It is both what we do, and what we fail to do.
It is the world with human beings living in it.
It is our environment, and our unwillingness
to let go of this world/environment.

Love is a choice... a choice to stop sinning.

If being gay is a choice as some would have us believe, then does that mean at some point in their life they were attracted to both sexes but chose to like the opposite?

Is that not the premise of choosing to be gay or straight..attraction to both sexes but choosing the preference of the opposite while fighting their attraction to the same.

I don't know about other people but I have always liked women..never once was I attracted to another man...never once did I have to make a choice between men or women.

I can honestly say I was born that way..

So why is it any different for gay people?

Gay people choose. Just like a straight person can choose to have sex with the opposite sex or not. Every action is a choice. My sister was sexually abused by our ex step-dad, what happened? A lesbian she worked with bashed on men and convinced her she was gay. Now she has two boys and a husband 8 yrs later. People go through tough stuff in life and confusion. Maybe some are born a little more feminine like but the actual sexual act and relationships are a choice. Also the lesbian she dated kissed a girl once when she was at school when she was about 5 and her older sisters harassed her and teased that she was a lesbian until she truly believed it. If gay was natural, natural selection would've weeded it out a while ago because it is direct threat to survival of the fittest. No one can argue that no matter how blue their face turns.

You clearly have zero understanding of natural selection.

1. Gay people still have the ability to reproduce.

2. Gay people don't have to reproduce to create more gay people.

3. Gay people COME FROM HETEROSEXUAL SEX.

4. Gay people exist in nature

I would say nice effort, but it wasn't. It was lazy and quite frankly just stupid.

But congratulations on writing the single dumbest thing I've read in months -- possibly years.

NEVER attach a sentence like this to a post you make again unless you intend on being wholly embarrassed by people with their superhuman ability to pass a sixth grade science class -- a concept that was clearly dead to you before any consideration. Nothing you just said is true.
