I'm actually thinking this poster is working AGAINST Israel. The OP's statements are VERY direct, leave no room for interpretation and are all totally backwards. This thread will be shut down soon like her last one but before it does I want to put it out there.

This poster is encouraging anti Israel sentiment, whether to reference as evidence of a mass anti Israel movement or just simply trolling. Whatever is happening, her intentions are not genuine and this thread is not on-the-level.

My apologies Malbosia. The thread is moving pretty quick and I missed your post. I can't argue that because the way her OP was wrote is rather lacking for the point she was trying to make. But if one looks past the crass style objectively, she still has a point.

I don't live there.
I could care less to be quite honest.

All I know is that if I had to choose between
living in Israel as a Christian

I don't root for Islam. I root for the under-dog. And I think that might be the case for many. Anyone with a brain and is not Imperialist ( it's own insane religion), can see that Islam is being used as a strategic tool and Israel is riding that for more of a foot-old over the final scraps of Palestine.

The fact of the matter is both sides have legit complaints about the other. Both the Palestians and their supporters and the Israelis have commited atrocities. Where in the past Israel was attacked by Arabs states when the shoe was on the other foot and the Israelis in more dominate position it is Israel that has the later history of attacking Arab states.

Today the Arab Israeli wars are over. The Arab states have moved on and are just waiting for Israel to come to a settlement with Palestine to make public the relashions they now have in private. So here is why Israel has lost support of the world. They are completely dominate over Palestine and when Palestine had a very moderate leadership that was willing to come to deal with Israel, Israel blew them off. That lead to that leadership being replaced by a more aggresive one. Instead of using its position of power to find peace. Israel has used its position to continue to build settlements keep pushing the Palestians into less and less territory. Nobody likes a bully so global opinion that once supported Israel has turned against it. Now only the US and its UN santion protects Israel from santions. Much like the US lost the global good will from 911 because it actions in Iraq, Israel lost global good will from the Arab Israeli wars to its actions in Palestine and Lebanon.

Somebody is going to have to step up and lead Israel to peace.

You could always try Iran.

They have a sizable Jewish community that do not wish to leave because they enjoy living there.

They also have a sizable Christian community that also gets on fine with everyone and they don't wish to leave.

So ..... perhaps people can live in peace and harmony.

Anyway, as was said so well earlier: ATS needs a warning label on it regarding anything positive about Christianity or Judaism - prepare to be ridiculed, misunderstood, misquoted. Just facts of life when on ATS and religion comes up.
