$4 Million in Gold reportedly stolen during robbery along 1-95

I saw this on the local news. I heard at one time it was "liquid gold" stored in barrels. I am not familiar with gold in that state. Anyone here know about it?

Curiosity says, who claimed the gold in the first place before it was "stolen".

It needs to be shipped just like anything else. I'm surprised they didn't have an escort. My wife carried a load of brand new bills once and was followed by security the entire way.

a backyard furnace can be made for under $100 from supplies at Lowes or Home depot. That can handle a few pounds of gold at a time. They can simply put a little more into making one that can handle a larger batch. I love GOOOOOOOLD!!!
