No, there are plenty of conservatives who don't say things to stir racial tensions. Did I say otherwise? If I wasn't clear, I think Al Sharpton is a slimy opportunistic scumbag who derives wealth and influence directly from inflaming racial tension. Even if we all already had Sharpton figured out, I think the one significant thing that this video exposes is the fact that even the people he professes to help do not trust him.

However all I can say is I am glad the truth about Al Sharpton as stated by Eric Garner's daughter had been published, whatever the consequences may be. I'm sick of this made up Black vs White narrative. In reality it's just not so. White really has no impact on black, black impacts black. Think about it, take it as you will.

Exposing the truth is an admirable goal, but i wouldn't trust someone with obvious biases and agendas to provide me with it.

If O'Keefe wants to be taken seriously, he should adopt standard codes of ethics and venture on from there. Right now, i'm not convinced he is providing us the objective truth. He's going around with his mates and secretly filming people while asking leading questions.

I guess the average ATSer is sophisticated enough to know what Sharpton is, but the great number of 'low-information voters' still don't understand who he is, because the media establishment props him up and refuses to investigate him. maybe this project will force the mediaites to shed some light on him and his operations.

hidden cameras were considered cutting-edge heroic journalism in the early days of 60 Minutes. is the method now invalid because someone on the right is using same? too many people will not be honest in public.

I consider someone like Antonio Salas a 'hero'. Someone who has actually gone undercover to expose crimes...someone who has directly put their life on the line to make the world a better place. O'Keefe is nothing more than a wannabe unethical journalist who was reporting in order to confirm his biases. There is a large difference there, and there are ethical boundaries which need to be considered.

It would be good to see the media investigate people such as Sharpton, as there are reasons to do so. I would rather have a tried and tested investigative journalist do it than some guy going into it intending to shape the story to his own agenda.

so O'Keefe and Lila Rose going undercover to expose Planned Parenthood's deceit doesn't make the world a better place? Isn't informing the public a good thing, especially sacred cows that the aforementioned Media Establishment won't touch?
I'd love to see 60 Minutes or similar operation go after Sharpton, but THEY DON'T. He gets a pass. So plan B, an independent muckraker sheds some light on his operation.

It's not just that he has a political bias. Having a bias might lead to a lack of objectivity and that's bad enough but O'Keefe specializes in manufacturing propaganda. His usual tactic is to cajole unsuspecting people into saying things — and people may be surprised how easily others can be persuaded into saying whatever, when the cops do it we call it "entrapment" — and then takes the video back and chops it up and glues it all back together with his own narrative.
