Well people have very different reasons for believing things. You aren't mentally ill if you believe at somebody at some high rank with access to confidential informations that tells you a certain extraordinary story. It may be crazy for me and you, but not necessarily if it was a hoax by a high level official or a straight disinfo to discret her in case of blowing the whistle.

A very, VERY few people have something...and a LOT of people have nothing.

The people at the absolute top must be petrified that 7 billion people all could suddenly turn and scream "eat the rich!"

Normally I don't get into these types of threads, but it does make you wonder. How do you keep 99.9 percent of the planet not focused on the .01 percent? Keep them fighting each other and breed apathy. Give them "bread and circus". I think this is what we are seeing worldwide.

We really do have the technology and resources to turn Earth into an amazing paradise, but we allow our species to become bogged down with infighting and petty squabbles. We never seem to push back against the dehumanizing ideas that are force-fed to us by the media conglomerates.

Buy this, dress like that, eat here, watch that.

This is who we now are and what we have become. We have allowed the smallest portion of our population to dictate how the largest portion lives. This really is s-for-brains, suicidal thinking. Why do we not push back and try to reclaim our human potential? Why do we sit around idly allowing the negative social programming to take hold?

I grew up with wide, optimistic eyes -- but every year I age I become more and more disillusioned and resigned to the fact that we as a species are going to do everything we can to sabotage ourselves. We really don't believe we can, and if we think like that....we never will.

Who knows? There are no doubt drugs, hypnosis, and perhaps surgical methods to alter a person's memory and personality. Sometimes it may be more beneficial to spend the money altering someone than simply killing them.

I mean, we really have no way of ever knowing what the top 10 people of planet Earth are doing/thinking.

I can't really find much to disagree with, except the notion that malevolent entities does not exist, there's entire hierarchies of them, and the concept of them are not limited to Judeo-Christianity but are described in virtually all human cultures on the planet.

Viewed through different perspectives and in different contexts one could argue that such evil does not exist, but in certain contexts there are certainly malevolent beings of all different types from all different places. Some could take semi-physical form and yes they could hurt us. As could a totally incorporeal being slap us on the back of our heads. They can attack our energetic system, they can leech, manipulate and even possess us. They come in all temperaments and all alignments, from the mischievous ones to the evil incarnate ones.

What I don't believe is that such powers could be considered as evil or malevolent

You don't think so? Entire 'systems' have gone dark, but "higher ups" wouldn't let that happen right? There's entire realms that are hellish, that goes on, that is allowed. A lot of spirits consider this a hellish prison planet and there's way worse places than our planet. That is what I call darkness; entire systems wrestled under control by negative hierarchies.
A lot of energy harvesting goes on here too, do you deny this very common observation? They could make a persons life a living hell if given half the chance. A lot of incredibly unbelievable stuff goes on in this multiverse, stuff that would boggle the mind and horrors that would drive men mad. There's checks and balances sure, but infinity has decided to experience the whole spectrum of experiences from pitch darkness to blinding light.

Evil is not a human construct and it has existed long before the humans on this planet came about. Humanity is not the sole proprietors of evil, it's a senseless idea in this sea of infinity.

Yes, but the key word here is also through the ego, the inner and the outer do intersect, some 'demons' might play the role of "initiating" people. If you read up on Mara you'll discover that this god - and this is how Buddhism describes him in their cosmology - is the sovereign of the desire realms: Kāmadhātu. He plays his role and it is not necessarily evil either.

I think most people's lens is rose colored, I currently wear shades for getting used to the darkness. That is temporary, yet the perspective will remain valid in its context, it'll evolve though and distortions will be corrected. Well, hopefully at least.

They work on different projects with humans (NAZIS anyone?) but since there are multiple species it doesn't mean that all of them are friendly...

+ One species can pass as human beings so they may be even amongst us in society without our knowledge.
