If you insist on accepting the left right paradigm, then of course it will appear that way. If however, you have had your eyes open, you will see
that both sides achieve the same goals, but take turns to arrive at them. The right set up deregulated scenarios in industries which require heavy
regulation in order to function correctly, like banking and finance for example, or the oil industry, and the left come along just in time for those
carefully constructed bubbles to collapse, making it easier for the left to install all manner of regulations, many of which will be enough of a
bugbear with most people, to get the irresponsible morons of the right back into power.
Increasingly over the last thirty to forty years in the west, the left have been so out of touch with the real needs of the people, that all the
apparently wonderful changes they want to make to the life of citizens, are in fact watered down and do not go nearly far enough to render the citizen
utterly bullet proof, in terms of their exposure to risk from purely abstract commercial concerns, like the collapse of one or another hedge fund
(something which, I think you will agree, ought to have absolutely nothing to do with whether someone looses their job or not at street level).
The right, at party level at least, are clueless morons who OWN to earn, and have to a large degree, never worked a single day in their lives,
produced an ACTUAL product, never broken a nail... Jeb Bush, for example, would not know how to do a real mans work if he was forced to do it at
gunpoint. Mitt Romney never held a real job his whole life! He was a Mormon missionary , and then worked in some firm doing "management consultancy".
That is only work, in the same way as a tomato is a fruit. Yes, you can earn money doing it, and yes, you can be taxed on the rewards from it, but no,
no matter how much that is the case, you still cannot put a damned tomato in a fruit salad.
He does not represent the citizens of a country, because he is not one of them. He is one of a tiny, ridiculously small minority of well off,
talentless morons within that citizenry, who want POWER. That said, the same is true of his, and indeed the current front running Republicans opposite
number in the Democratic Party. The same things are also true of David Cameron and Ed Milliband here in the UK.
If a person has never been at risk from the worst excesses of both corporate, and government stupidity, has never been on the verge of bankruptcy
owing to situations beyond their control, has never known what it is like to have their fate rest on matters entirely outside their sphere of
influence, then that person has NO DAMNED RIGHT to govern a nation of people who ARE reliant on the smooth running of a government, and ARE reliant on
companies to serve their needs adequately and at fair prices. Only people who are OF the people have a right to consider themselves worthy to govern.
Those who earn by owning the homes that good people live in, while doing nothing to ensure that their ownership is beneficial to those renting from
them, those who own companies and have never put in a single hour at the bottom end of that industry, MAKING things with their hands, stacking
shelves, fork lifting things into trucks, or even making the workforce a measly cup of damned coffee, are NOT the sorts of people you want running a
country, no matter what politics they claim to adhere to internally.
Now, as for socialism sir, if you live in the United States of America, then you have no idea, none what so ever, what socialism really looks like,
or feels like, because you have never had such a thing in your country, and you never will. Socialism is really bad for big business, and since your
nation hosts the headquarters of the largest businesses one could hope to name, scattered all throughout its landmass, you will never see a socialist
government installed in Washington.
Until those businesses set up shop elsewhere, and I mean nearly ALL of them, you have nothing to worry about, because as long as they can purchase
the favour of one or another political candidate, the entire finance driven, capitalist cluster bang will continue unabated. Your nation will still
have entire tent cities full of formerly hardworking homeowners, who no longer have homes due to a banking collapse and subsequent bailout, over which
they had no control, and there will still be smart people who simply got born into the wrong family, with the wrong credit rating to get any sort of
assistance with getting an ideal education, and your fellow countrymen will still, DESPITE the allegedly socialist health policies of the current
government, have to pay something for immediate care at a hospital, and bankrupt themselves in so doing, not to mention paying over the odds for all
the care they receive in their lifetimes.
