Is this one, im sure a lot of you know it.

This is "Turtle" by Pilote - Bonobo mix

It evokes happiness, joy, love, sunny sunday afternoon, countryside, no worries, peace, beauty.
I think beautiful is the right description for it...

An absolute masterpiece, stunning to the highest degree

Bonobo is sweet, I have one of the earlier albums, which has beautiful music on it too, thanks for sharing. I use to buy an album a week back when I was single and childless and use to dabble in dj-ing, I always played amibent ( not a spelling mistake) me and my friends made up the name amibent instead of ambient when we use to decorate the ambient zone at the GATHERING New Years eve parties. Thanks again.

It's not what I usually listen to but I like it. It's good. Thanks for sharing.

Are those bats or birds flying around on your post?
Also, is your avatar from a book or movie or something? I just noticed the little guys on the head dress or whatever it is. That's cool.

I *love* this one.

I did a thread a while ago about my signature HERE, i originally thought they were bats but now i think they're birds.
My avatar is by one of my favourite Russian artists, Anton Semenov. If you like my avatar you should check out his work. HERE, HERE, HERE, AND HERE
The original is in black and white, i added the colour to it. I think it looks better like that

Thanks for the comment

LOL, yeah same here, i used to by a cd every other day back in the day. I must have about 500 cd's in my collection.
So why amibent? To mess with people's heads when they're, ahem, intoxicated?

Also i just noticed your upside down avatar. There's an antique shop right across the road from me and there's a painting of that girl in the window. Thats the girl from Afghanistan, right?
If i look out my front door i can see her...

I know this is creeping onto classic but the most beautiful song I know, that always reaches into my soul is Mozart's Reqiuem. Made all the more poignant by the fact he never finished it...

It is 55 minutes long, my favourite is the last movement Lacrimosa

Yeah those undertones are there in plenty of her songs. That adds to the beauty for me though. Here is another:

I love the soundtrack on this animation, The Clocktower. It's a very simple melody with just piano and violin.
It's very soothing.

Reminds me of Portishead, not really similar but just reminded me of them

I really like the haunting vibe off it, thanks for posting

Very nice piece of music and animation.

You've reminded me of the site Aniboom, the animated video site.
I had it bookmarked years ago but on an old laptop.

Ive a lot of video's to watch, thanks for posting

Yep Portishead is sometimes classified as 'Trip Hop' as is Mandalay.

Here is some Beth Gibbons solo work:

Great songs!

This song is not really too peaceful but when I heard it I could swear it was the background music to my life.
