It's acceptable, it's just a proven HOAX as he was completely off base on all the predictions that would have proven otherwise. You still dont get it ,he claimed to be from a different worldline than ours for example there could be a worldline where hitler never rose to power or a world where Obama never got elected etc and there is a possibility that these infinite worldliness exist ,he never predicted our future as such he simply described his own which is why his "predictions" not coming true for us does not mean that it is a hoax.

You also seem to be under the impression some of us who are interested in this are blind followers of titor,I myself am just open minded and I've yet to see concrete evidence to disprove his claims so I cant write it off as a hoax although I accept that it's much more likley to be a hoax than a time traveler

Well, I've heard rumors of a movie being made about it for a long time now. I think this will be one way to tell the truth.

If a movie is made, the people behind it (assuming hoax) would either have to sit by silently and watch all the hooplah
over it OR they would come forward to cite ownership of the material, with proof, in order to cash in on any monies
made from the production.

from what i understand USA pumped all of its overproduction of they boom period that caused great depression into war but I am not sure about the statement that war is good for economy some say yes and some say no. some say it is a good way to erase debt (not sure what that means would love to hear an economist shed some light on this )

Good lord, John Titor still haunts us...

I could understand if he was a time traveller in the traditional sense but to be able to jump from one timeline or world to another is relatively new to me. Science is just beginning to understand multiverse and string theory but to believe a guy claiming to be like him is a bit of a stretch.

You seem to be just ignoring what im saying and only hearing what you want to hear,ive already explained this about 3 times but he claimed to be from another worldline and he was describing the events of his own world,not of ours therefore we cannot take his failed predictions as proof he was not a time traveller,you could go to a different worldline and tell them about 9/11 and for them 9/11 never happens,what i find odd though is that a person clever enough to come up with this hoax would have known his predictions would never have panned out and his earliest prediction was only about 3 years into the future,so why didn't he make vague predictions that were future proof? instead he came up with wild predictions with specific dates ,which would inevitably destroy his own story.

there have been plenty of people who claim to be time travellers and they are always met with a sceptical eye and their story never holds up so no i dont think people blindly jump on board,the titor story gained traction because he is the only time traveller who showed pictures and schematics of his time machine and explained how it worked as well as the basic physics behind it,and he also had insight into other subjects which very few people knew of at the time,coupled with the fact that he went to all this effort just to post it on a couple of forums.

So what im saying is that as a time traveller his story holds up pretty well,as a hoax there are some elements which dont make sense.

titor never left this worldline and he is preventing the stuff he knows that is going to happened. I mean his theories of time travel are great. so many scientist are sticking to einstain (travel to past is possible) hawking (you cannot go to past) does not have to be correct and many believe he is not
