John Titor 2015...

Hello

I know this bloke is a regular thread but I came across his name again on another site.

Did he turn out to be a hoax or was the hoax a hoax?..

The 2015 prediction seems ever so possible currently. I know he was hit and miss and if you consider him a hoax, it was a great one. If not you can allow this misses.

I'm sure most here will know of the 3 billion dead in 2015

" In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska."

What is the latest on this? Some of you will yawn and this but if you could indulge me with some of the latest thoughts I would appreciate it.

Have any citizens of the American Federal Empire chimed in yet ?
Do you think any will in the forseeable future ?

You cant take his predictions seriously because he claimed to be from another worldline ,what puzzles me though is that his story was so well thought and he made mention of the multiple worldlines so why did he make predictions that he knew would not turn out to be true? did he simply forget that our future would be different than his?

I read a lot on John Titor back in the day.....IMO it was a clever hoax, the whole use of different "time lines" pretty much protected his predictions if and when they turned out to be false.

Yep I did, however considering the different timelines there can/could be variations. Additionally, who knows what the usa, in the future, would be called on reflection in 2036. Such as Russia/Russian federation/Soviet Union or Germany/nazis/facists

What makes you think he has not continued writing science fiction under his own name?

Or that he didn't come here, embed for awhile, and go off the deep end about breakaway civilizations?

But, no. I don't think we'll see a full scale nuclear war within our lifetimes. A limited exchange on strategic positions and bases around the world, possibly. But not full on nuking of cities and civilians.

I haven't kept up with science fiction in years, but it seems to me there are plenty of post-apocalypse movies and TV series that seem to have sprung from the same mind.

Well.... hoaxer or not......2015 is upon us and there are elements or seeds of WW3 in the air! What with ISIS as well, which is kind of a WW (mini) that could grow if they are not stopped soon.

Putin flexing his petite pois is also to be noted.

We shall just have to see!

Can you recall a single year since 1945 that the seeds of World War Three weren't in the air?

I don't think he was a time traveler but he may be close to the truth , I don't believe Russia would attack China but China could take advantage of the opportunity offered by Russia should the brown stuff hit the fan , I believe they are already working toward that with their island building program

The signs don't look good at the moment and Putin is the biggest threat to world peace at the moment in my opinion , although no one expects war nuclear or otherwise war may happen , so he may be there or thereabouts in his time prediction.
I think we need to hope for the best but prepare for the worst , one small comfort is that if he was telling the truth we may still have a future.

Not that, if it was a hoax, then proof must be there such as the guy was found and shown that he wrote this stuff. Asking basically was this done. Just thinking something doesn't make it so

For example Russia was with Gemany at first in the 2nd world war.
