Washington police shoot and kill man throwing rocks

PASCO, Wash. - Residents angry that police shot and killed an orchard worker accused of throwing rocks at officers are planning more protests in an agricultural area of southeastern Washington.

Obviously "a suicide by throwing stones" ...

Send these cops to serve at IDS (Israeli Defence Forces) who are better known to shoot to kill any stone throwing unarmed persons - and in Palestine more often these are kids (hence won't run that fast, and are easier to hit - big bonus).

What about a little kid throwing a rock? Would you blast them away too? How about if someone is throwing snowballs? Would you go all death wish on them? If 3 grown ass men can't subdue one guy throwing rocks they don't deserve to be called men.

Unless you are totally useless without a gun you'd be able to get him down on the ground without shooting, especially if there is three of you. And yes I had a rock thrown at me before, guess what I'm still here.

Sir, may I suggest that we're speaking about "real" rock and not "gravel" taken from road. I have had "gravel" throw at me at no real hurt, but we're speaking here of real "piece"...

But if your OK to be taken down as a receiver for a "brick" it is OK for you sir, I respect your choice to die and let your attacker live!

I live in a part of the world where there was extreme violence in the not too distant past and still some today. Trust me when I tell you rocks was not the worst thrown. All I can tell is that you are the type of person that needs a gun to validate themselves, take it away and you'd probably run a mile from any conflict. If these men had a set between them they would have done their job properly without gunning him down.

In one post you go from 'gravel' to 'real rock' and you end up at 'brick'.

At the time the dude was shot dead, he did not have gravel, rock or a brick in his hand.

He was unarmed, hands open, arms wide and they shot him like a dog.

End of story.

Murder is murder.
