The small Arizona town where Kayla Jean Mueller grew up gathered in grief Tuesday upon learning that the 26-year-old aid worker who travelled the world on a quest to help others had died while in the hands of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants.

Isis claims she was killed in a Jordanian airstrike while the US government claims Isis killed her . The truth might come out eventually but my guess is Isis is trying to deflect blame . The execution of the Jordan pilot did not work out so well for them with Jordan bombing the crap out of them . Jordan now hinting at putting boots on ground along with other middle east states
( with US help ) it looks like Isis is back peddling , not a bit but a lot . Fact remains , if they weren't holding her she would be alive . Go Jordan , bomb them back to the dark ages .....um ..... wait .... to late

Look again its a little more complicated than your first emotional outburst....I think....
Is this more war mongering? The PTB never let any crisis go to waste....even if it just involves one small towns grief and one familiys crisis....

Another person traveling to an area that the US government stated that citizens should not go. At some point people become responsible for the results of their decisions.

Living just outside of Prescott, and being there today... that suggested title is a bit misleading. The gathering was rather small and more on the side or mournful than revengeful. Not sure where you got your 'Title update suggestion', but maybe you should try again.

God bless her soul. She's a humanitarian who spent her life in being of service. Modern-day heroes like Kayla are being killed barbarously. Our government and the whole world should create an immense action plan to spare the next generation of these killings. This reminded me of how the 93-year old Simone Klugman described those terrorists here: To Me, This is Total Evil No other way to describe them really.

Happy?

There's talk that she was given to an IS commander to be his
wife.

New details have emerged in the wake of the death of Kayla Mueller suggesting the American aid worker in Syria may have been handed over to an ISIS commander following her kidnapping.

The 26-year-old Arizona native was often seen in the company of an ISIS commander who was being tracked actively by US intelligence, insiders tell ABC News, and she may even have been forced into marriage with the jihadi leader.

However, the U.S. had no ground-level intelligence on Mueller. Tabs were kept on the man she was sometimes seen with using drones or satellite surveillance.

This weekend, ISIS sent her family an email confirming her death along with a photo of her body.

Although the terrorist group had claimed last week that she was killed in a Jordanian airstrike, it has not yet been confirmed how and when she passed away.

She is now the reason chosen as the excuse to ramp up the fight in the MidEast again. Same crap, different day.
