You know as a white guy I sometimes think about natives, where I live 99 % are destroyed in the name of helping them with cheap drugs and alcohol

I see some of them walking like zombies and I can't help but wonder, what if it was my people, and then I start thinking about things I shouldn't post

I personally don't feel guilty, I am recent migrant, and not Anglo Saxon either so I can't be blamed even historically genetically, not all white people are Western European or Euro Spanish

But yeah, if there was ever example of destroyed people, natives are it

The only people I hold accountable are the ones that keep up the same ideologies and practices that lead to it in the first place. I wasn't making an accusation and hope you didn't take it as one. I was just saying that divide and conquer has been and is being used the world over, including here.
It breaks my heart seeing them drunk and drugged out like that. Yeah, people make their own choices but what some of the older ones endured in the residential schools was hell. It doesn't help that a lot of the reservations are like third world countries.
