I need to get a small website going.

It is an Authors website.

I can go with this

www.hostbaby.com...

I know nothing about this side of things and have no idea how much it should cost.

It would only be a small affair so any advice would help.

GoDaddy.com 'Web Hosting' appears to have a better ... pricing-plan?

If you outgrow what you start, they'll let you upgrade to a higher-plan ... (as your needs grow).

You could try 1and1.come. it's only a few bucks a month paid half yearly.

Godaddy are complete low life scum. They WILL steal off you if given the chance, small low traffic sites owned by normal people with zero chance of a legal challenge are their favourite targets. Bluehost are worth a look
