i agree they have been pushing vaccination public relation messages really hard lately,

“But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.”

According to the CDC, no one born before 1954 needs to be vaccinated for measles --ever. Because they recovered from measles.

Exactly.

As long as I've been reading this site, for any conspiracy, the saying is to "follow the money" - which is a super clear path in this case.

I really cannot believe that people argue so much about this issue. While I do not have children yet, I have friends who do, and when we were discussing this issue, one of my friends went and checked back on the vaccine chart for both of her children, born 5 years apart. The vaccines had nearly doubled in amount for her second child in JUST 5 years!! Needless to say she was utterly horrified!

If that doesn't give one cause for pause, I don't know what will...

My sister, who is 10 years older than I, remembers everyone having measles at some time or another, (there were even parties so that kids would catch measles on purpose) and the entire grade school of children survived just fine. It was no worse that having a flu. While I am certain that 1 child in however many can die from measles, that is also true for the flu as well.

The scare tactics of the media are SO blatant these days, and I really am shocked that so many are continuing to fall for it.

ETA: Why aren't more people asking their parents and grandparents what it was like having measles? It was hardly the hand-wringer it's being made out to be.

Anyone that has been paying attention for the past couple of decades should know the tune by now, even with the different lyrics.

Oh no! We have a health care crisis in America! People are choosing not to buy health insurance and that is hurting everyone else. Let the government take that choice away from them, for the good of everyone. It will make health care simpler and more affordable.

Oh no! We have an economic crisis in America! The American people should bail out the criminal bankers with their tax dollars, whether they want to or not. It's for the good of everyone, especially the ones who should have gone to jail over this.

Oh no! Crazy people with guns are killing people! Only the government should be allowed to have guns. It's for the good of everyone, except the ones killed by government guns or by criminals who aren't following the law.

Oh no! There are terrorists in America! People need to give up their rights when it comes to searches, seizures, privacy, judicial process, and anything else the government might need to take away to protect us. It's for the good of everyone. "Everyone" meaning the government that no longer needs to worry about that pesky Constitution.

Oh no! There are drugs in America! The police need to be able to use forfeiture laws to take money and property from people so they can't buy drugs. It's for the good of everyone, especially police.

Oh no! There are viruses in America! The government needs to force people to take vaccines and give the vaccine makers immunity from lawsuits. It's for the good of everyone, especially the pharmaceutical companies that donate so generously to lawmakers campaigns. You can trust that the government will never abuse the rights you give up. You can trust anything.

Pick a few cases, have the usual propaganda outlets declare a crisis, then try to scare people into giving up their rights. Keep using the same formula, people never seem to catch on.

I know it's early days yet, for 2015 - but I am going to go ahead and call this post of the YEAR!!
Well said, & it really couldn't BE more obvious.

So, if you don't vaccinate your kid and he/she gets measles, and infects my kid and he dies -- can I go ahead and sue you? Or go after you for negligent manslaughter?

If your child was vaccinated in this case; how would they come to be infected in the first place by a child who wasn't...?

If that were to happen I would sue the pharmaceutical company and ministry of health instead...

I think 100 cases of measles is pretty shocking. Its an incredibly communicable disease, and can cause a litany of other complications, including brain damage. I'm not arguing that everyone should be forced to get vaxxed, but everyone needs educated on what an epidemic this disease could turn into. Hell, there were like 7 cases of ebola, and the whole country soiled their pantaloons.

Well the vaccine issue has some deception in it.

I cover it here on ATS.

The logical thing to do here people who question whether to vaccinate your kid(s) or not is obvious, please DON'T do it! because if you contemplate setting your kid(s) up for failure, you deserve to see them suffer by such things as polio, measles, gonorrheachiapet, etc.

I've had the measle. Only one, I didn't get it plural I was lucky man. It was terrible, a terrible terrible thing. Look up small pox, i was lucky, I got one big one and that was it. Mumps? yeah i had a mump so what? I'm not even going to mention Polio. Obviously these statements are false.
Thats right, I didn't get em cause of vaccinations. Anyone got a better reason I didnt get em let me know, honestly I'd like to know.
Body manipulation has been around since the caveman stuck a bone through his nose, we're talking about stopping the spread of communicable disease. Vaccination is far from the sickest thing in this society, so far from it its not funny. On my earth anyway.
Its a first world problem i guess - are they trying to cure disease or sabotage my individuality?
It can be compared to a man attempting to cure his child's cancer by preying to whatever god he follows, it might work, but generally it wont. Human medical science however has saved those lives. Extreme comparison yeah I agree but the similarity is there.

I wonder at the motivation of the "pushers" who were unable to get everyone needle shot with the bird flu false flag and then were unable to get everyone needle shot with the ebola false flag and now we are bombarded again with measles. False flag....I'm not betting against it. Don't trust government, they don't have the people's best interests at heart.

Easy!

If her child gets exposed while he/she is still below the minimum age to safely receive the vaccine. Most vaccines are not administered to children under one yr. old.

IMO, not only should she sue you but so should your insurance company and the govt., (on behalf of the tax paying public) for any all cost picked up by them respectively.

However, I don't support the multi-cocktail for babies and young children.

This is where I stand on vaccines. I think they are effective, and only some are really necessary, but definitely not all - especially not the flu vaccine.

However, I adamantly oppose giving vaccines to newborns and infants. They have no business getting a shot that early in life. If the vaccines were effective for newborns, they wouldn't need boosters every 2 months too.

I'm on the fence regarding flu shots. I think it should be personal choice, unless it is a flu so severe it threatens society as a whole.

I did not say infants should not be vaccinated. Many infants today are in daycare where they are susceptible to communicable diseases.

I just think they should be spread out instead of a multi-cocktail.

Furthermore, if the mother is immune (through vaccines or natural immunity), she should pass on the immunity to her child - rendering vaccines obsolete for the 2nd generation onwards imo (if the mother breastfeeds).

You make a good point though for children who will be exposed to the infectious pathogens in daycare... But if they are recently immunized there should be nothing to worry about, even if other children are not vaccinated.

I'd say that is a myth more then a reality that infants have natural immunity.

I was kept in the hospital for a week because my brother had chicken pox. Didn't work. I still got them at 10 days old.

They push these substances on us, we have no idea what heinous chemicals they put into those vaccines. Yet, it is still illegal to voluntarily smoke cannabis. Its almost as if they're pushing their agenda on us while prohibiting substances that we might like. Doing a damn good job of it. Theres probably a name for this somewhere... promulgation? indoctrination? propagandizing?

'Cui Bono?' You might ask? All those involved will get a nice fat stack of cash from the drug companies. All those drug companies will have a mandatory customer base. All for the sake of money, they will sell out their people's physical safety. BUT IT GETS WORSE! What you have mentioned, the media pushing these things, the propaganda machine that is such a controlling factor, the success they have.

When you have a media source, getting its information from the government, from the authority, from the state, you have essentially a state run media. This is dangerous because you now know that the media is now in the pocket of the government and its corporate masters. Keep in mind, a majority of Americans trust our MSM as absolute truth.

I don't care if its only vaccines. By gauging the success of their vaccine agenda (the media coverage vs. how many people actually go get vaccines) they are able to survey the strength of their propaganda. This is only gearing them to begin a different debate, something potentially even more dangerous to our human freedom.

Sanitation, hygiene and access to medical care are far more important factors to eradicating infectious disease.

Was it sanitation, hygiene, and access to medical care that practically wiped out Hib in the US in the 1980s? Did the US undergo a massive hygiene revolution in the 1980s? What about polio? It was recently eradicated in India. Has India undergone a massive sanitation revolution in the 2010s? Or smallpox? It's extinct in the wild. Did the entire world achieve modern levels of sanitation, hygiene, and access to medical care in 1977?

Some of the stories by these people who were not vaccinated are pretty interesting. The comments are also eye-opening:

I was a cold war baby, and had the childhood diseases. I had measles *everywhere* including lesions under my finger and toe nails, my buttcrack and inside my mouth. My mom kept me in a dark room because of the risk of eye damage. When I had whooping cough, it turned into rheumatic fever, giving me both a heart condition and serious lung issues - I get a chest cold, it rolls into pneumonia because of the scarring in my lungs prevent them from clearing the mucus properly. I have no idea how much lifespan the heart damage has lost for me.

Vaccinate your kids. If I had my way, it would be a chargeable offense not to get your kid vaccinated barring specifically and ONLY allergy issues.

Now, I certainly don't think anyone should go to jail over not vaccinating their kids. Although I don't have permanent health issues.

I had a cousin who was brain damaged by measles as a toddler in the early 1970s and died in her teens in the mid-1980s from an embolism I believe was related. People lately seem to think measles is like the chicken pox. It's not.

Link

I don't think people today realize how good we've had it since things like measles have been pretty much eradicated. I wish my grandparents were still around so I could pick their brain about what it was like to live before the MMR.

Even more interesting, is I had that intense of an experience with all of those nearly dying many times, within a WEEK of the shots, I had measles mumps and whooping cough at the SAME TIME.

Spent months in hospitals on a yearly basis after.

Something reacted very badly to that vaccine, within 3 minutes of the shot my arm blew up like a balloon and hurt so bad I can never forget it.

I could never take this crap again, I love how people say, oh lets see what happens on the first run if they are allergic or not.

I suffered so brutally a damaged immune system from this I vowed they will not get away with it.

25 years later I am still rebuilding myself and finally feeling better, I have first hand experience beyond ANYONES wildest dreams, that everyone is NOT THE SAME, and these one size fits all shots that are totally trusted provably DO cause damage.

I have free health care across the board for life because of this, often I wonder if I should take it to a higher level for the amount of brutal suffering I endured , and the many things I am unable to enjoy.

Trusting that these companies and the science behind them actually are putting the best product they can out there is FOOLHARDY, and especially more so now, when they FLAT OUT ADMIT they do not even know what causes so many things in the body.

The medical INDUSTRY is in control of this, Not LOVING GRANDMOTHER TYPES.....give your heads a shake.

So you do or do NOT oppose the scientifically congratulated, all feet forward approach the Medical Industry has towards this ???!!?

They say this is safe PERIOD blasting all these things at once.

How can you disagree with them, and agree with them at the same time ?? Must be nice to have floating decision points.

What is bizarre to me is parents feeding their children processed foods thus requiring pharmaceuticals. The real crime is ignorant parents allowing their children to come to school with a broken immune system. Funny how my family never gets sick meanwhile everyone around me is always sick while relying on big pharma. Primitive species we are.

Oh the drama.

Extremely contagious communicable disease, that can have debilitating physical long lasting effects.

Ya Drama, go into a vaccination center and you will see some alright, the vax rates are triple here over 10 years ago.

It is unbelievable what these children are exposed to now, but lets just keep going right, its all good.

The place has to have so much security and safety protocols because of the incredible danger in handling the stuff it is beyond reproach, and people are quitting working in droves, they can no longer see a reason to pump things into babies at rates like this.

This has gone so overboard and everyone in health care can see it, but they are shamed and scared into believing , just like every other religion.

Let us all trust in mega corp to watch out for us, and think nothing of it, and laugh about it on conspiracy sites.

Nanny state that is being defended at all costs, this will become reason for war, and soon.
