Reports indicate the Islamic State (ISIS) has executed a prisoner, Jordanian pilot Muadh al-Kasasbeh, who the group had previously indicated they wanted to swap for Jordanian prisoner Sajida al-Rishawi.

Looks like this story has not been validated yet, but who cares...

The nominal yield of a W87 warhead is 300 kt TNT.

Now, we just need to get them in one spot. A book burning of the Koran in the middle of some Desert should do the trick...

It sounds good but in reality it just spreads this kind of barbaric inhumanity even further slowly making it more acceptable.

For a long time beheading was considered one of the most humane ways to execute someone. With the right method it was quick and resulted in very little suffering for the prisoner. Now, the way ISIS and other militant extremists do it is completely brutal and focused on causing as much fear, horror, pain, and suffering before the prisoner is finally dead. But the guillotine was used until as late as 1977 in what is widely known as a civilized country.

Burning someone alive? That's straight sick.

My question is why? If you really want your caliphate do exactly what they are doing minus these torture video. Its like theyre making propaganda agaibst themselves and that my why. This isnt about brilliantly and quietly taking land ita about provoking someone else far away and not involved in fighting a war.

Fair comment-I actually thought that I used the wrong phrase after I posted it.
They are much more like a disease like you say.

The coalition should give them hellfire tonight for this IMO-and not stop until they are all dead.
We are not doing enough yet IMO.

Torture and subsequent Corpse Mutilation is forbidden in Islam so I shouldn't really advocate it.

Personally I'm more of a Quranist, with hints of acceptance to certain Hadith...


ISIS however strictly adhere to the Hadith...
& here is one relevant to the topic.

"If you find so-and-so, kill him. But never kill him by burning, for none uses fire in torturing except the One Who created it."


ISIS are the biggest walking contradiction to Islam there has ever been imo.
