This is Niki on her favorite chair.
In which she did not mind if you were currently occupying, she would wedge her self between me and the back of the chair and just wait till I decided that it was her turn to sit there.

Ya they are so high maintenance... I mean you gotta feed/water them and walk them, oh man I don't know how I ever was able to handle it.

I grew up with 6 dogs & 3 horses. I can't stand being around other peoples dogs; they're so excessively needy it makes me nauseous. & *having* to take them outside for bathroom or walks sounds just...terrible.

I'll stick with the 2 cats for now.

Still not sure what breed, thinking about doing one of those DNA tests.

Couldn't decide what to name her, so I cast an I Ching hexagram.
Her name is Chinese for "Gradual progress toward proper conduct."
In French "Chien loup," pronounced the same, would be "wolf dog" in English.

This is Calyssa. My daughter and I call her Callie for short. She's a Chihuahua/Mini-Pincher/Jack Russell mix. She just turned a year old in January. I've had her since last March.

This is probably the best dog I've ever had. I rescued her from the brink of death as a puppy and she turned into 100 lbs of the smartest, sweetest animal you could imagine.
She is in her final days in this pic. Nancy was her name.
The papillon lurking in the shadows thinks she's the bitch in charge.
Nancy seems to find it funny.
