Because Recent Posts doesn't include BTS.

The thread is the the Global News Discussion Forum.

If you click on OFF TOPIC on the recent posts page, it will appear.

Not censored, you're just not looking in the right place.

I see no use for that function..

I have indeed seen many threads censored or deleted here though.. which I don't think its right in most cases, since, even if they are wrong views, it means that other people think that way also, and it gives a chance for people to correct their views (and the views of others who might think the same way).

Also in one instance, I tried to write "'___'" and it was replaced with '___'

I wonder if it will happen again..

You see, it did happen .. I tried to type "L S D".

BTS is the old term for "off topic". At one point, long ago, it was a totally separate domain. If you wanted to surf ATS and BTS you had to do so with two tabs open.

Oh and Above Politics was also another domain - so three tabs.

I think that presumption is default for some people.

By "white tone" are we all referring to that little night/day looking thing up top?

Only problem im seeing is I can't see stars on mobile on the light side. Other than that, solid. Thanks for the head's up all

Censorship, a word that gets thrown around quite often on ATS. The truth is actually very simple, ATS is a privately owned site and you agreed to the ATS Terms and Conditions when you created your account.

Trust me, censoring opinion is the last thing in the world I would want to do. But there are subjects that cannot be discussed on ATS because we don't have age limits. There are plenty of places on the Internet to discuss the handful of topics that are forbidden here. And forbidden for good reason. The example you used, L S D - should you write a thread talking about how much you love using it, you could end up with Uncle Sam trying to track you down. I don't think most people realize that admission of use is considered possession in the US and has been for about thirty years.

So, yes, there are topics we don't discuss here, but you agreed to that all when you signed up.
