Same thing of oil production in general.

Haters of petro made us dependent upon foreign oil.

The flip side of that has what has been done to coal.

Both destroyed jobs,wealth, and the precursor for the last decade of war.

The world, this country needs it.

It's the world engine.

There is nothing that delivers for the dollar. Translated across the spectrum of goods and services.

We owe our current technological, and economic PROGRESS for the win. To oil.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

I never spent a winter up there, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised. The caribou ignore people for the most part, and the people steer clear of the caribou. An entire day can be eaten up sitting in your work truck as a herd migrates across the road.

What can you do?

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.
