Syncronisity at its best as I had missed this thread.

I came across this vid after youtube ran on and it has to be one of the worst made instructional vids I have seen in a long time, I posted it on a carpenters forum as it's Friday night and challenged the pro's to see how long they could watch without having to stop.

It's not bad just a bit embarresing for the guy as he's no presenter or carpenter, I thought it would pass some time and wondered if anyone else found it as amusing as me.

The problem is the location is under contract the day we wanted to film. We have to find another place to film. The singer and her staff are demanding that we only use that location. Now we are in a delay. Big boss is mad. LOL

I'm glad you found it. Thanks for adding. I ended up watching all of it. I'm no carpenter so I really don't know what he did right or wrong. As for presentation, that creepy smile he gives the camera makes me think he shouldn't be withing 100 yards of a school, if you know what I mean.

I thought it odd that he began cutting a piece of wood before saying what it was or why it was and then said that we should use such and such birch...

I don't know...the old man's a carpenter and I would trust something he told me about carpentry...not this guy...

The beasties are also featured in the movie Jason and the Argonauts. A blind man was being punished for something and was exiled to an island. He was given food regularly but had to fight the harpies off to get it.
