again your time posting that was not in vein but it did highlight how muslims in this case were not following the commands of allah. guess what if you dig into the story a bit you will find that this was not a band of fighters as you have been assuming. It was 2 main killers that were out numbered hundreds to one. they could have easily stoned them if they tried but they save that for the defensless and weak as you have pointed out.

i stated such at the begining of the thread.

Yes many christians including me are somewhat intolerant of the lifestyle but we do not kill them and more than that i personally would die for them even though i do not think they should marry or show public affection for eachother.

I am not claiming anything but the truth

i try to be honest with everyone.

care to take a guess why christians do not condone the killing of gays here in the us and why the us is safer than muslim countries?

Because we have laws that stop them from doing that. Coincidentally, most Muslims here also obey the laws. Imagine that huh?

I agree peace comes from within but that was not at all a realitive response to what i said that it is islam not christianity that claims to be the religion of peace even though you tried to say the opposite.

Since everyone has laws then the power of deduction points us to other factors like religion being the cause for less violence in the us compared to muslim countries.

I've never heard that except from maybe Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist church cult. Speaking out against the act of homosexuality isn't "hating gays". We love the gay, and warn that the Bible condemns to act of homosexuality. Unless it's also "hating" liars, murderers, thieves, and prostitutes to proclaim that the Bible also condemns those sins.

Last time I checked my Bible it said we all are sinners and need forgiveness in Christ. Every last one of us.

There is no such thing as Islamic "STATE". These are a bunch of thugs who takes the verses of the Qur'an out of context to suit their agenda!

They are no more a spokesperson for Islam as GWB was for Christianity

As it has been stated numerous times,their brainwashed thugs and we could and should be doing a lot more to stop them-rather than increase their numbers as we are currently doing

On the bottom of the last page a member posted verses out of the koran that specifically call for the followers of islam to jihad against what most of you are labeling as a hijacking of the religion.

So simply standing by and cheering such acts as in the op is clearly going against the word of what they accepted as a profit.

The islamic state at this point has become very real because the followers of islam stood by and did not so far jihad against the radicals.

I am no student of that book but it clearly states not to stand by and do nothing as the radicals take over.

The goal of the radicals is too make them feel powerless but the words of the profit state that you will have power if you stand up.

You said that a good Christian is a peaceful one. Therefore Christianity is the religion of peace.

Religion has nothing to do with people obeying the laws. People obeying the laws has to do with how strong the government is, and the US government along with other 1st world countries are very strong.

I'd go so far as to say we're a little beyond bigotry at this point on ATS. Muslims are obviously viewed as second-class things, if given that much at all.

I've seen a hell of a lot of fallacious arguments since I last replied in this thread that there were too many to tear apart.

I also said that overall the majority of those christians that describe christianity do not make the claim of being a religion of peace. I said that if one follows the direction of jesus it leads to a more civilized peaceful existance. So you twisting my statments to make it looked i claimed christians think they are the religion of peace is false. Once again let us be clear christianity as a whole does not claim to be the religion of peace. The islamic muslim religion makes that claim at every corner and it has been shown effectively that in the text of the koran it calls for violence.

Christianity is the religion of LOVE.

I guess it is just an anomoly that countries that have christianity and such practiced overall in their countries are safer than those that practice the so called religion of peace or you just have your head buried.

How about we stick to facts like the profits call for believers to jihad against those that hijack the religion and how those that stand by and write off all the hijacking as not amounting to enough of a threat to follow the profits words.

From what i read he did not tell his followers to sit peacefully by as the religion is hijacked. He said to eliminate them.

Amazing how each of these peoples believe wholeheartedly that God created everything yet cannot accept their own doctrine that he also created homsexuality. Its a mechanism within nature that when a species overbreeds homosexuality arises to naturally cull the numbers.

Not accepting homosexuality in ones own spiritual life by choice is not the same thing and harming those who choose otherwise.

I do not accept homosexuality in my life (by my choices) but I would never harm another human being for their free choice to the contrary. It seems ISIS does harm others for their free choice in this manner.

Again those verses are used to justify intolerance toward homosexuality in ones own life (what you have authority to control) in the mind of the follower; never to be enforced upon others.

True Christians learn to hate sin in their own mind over time, sin found in self; not others.

I do condemn all hate from any religion on any group of people. I hate sin found in my mind and I judge that sin only.

No by standing by as others use the profits name to wreck the reputation of the religion they are condoning the terrorist while at the same time their peaceful stance against terrorist is going against several verses that are accepted to be the words of the profit. The profit was clear about using violence against those that threatened the foundation of the religion.

Through the ignorrance of the peaceful followers the terrorist find cover and gain strength.
