I searched and wasn't able to find anything on this question...

When you look at a particular forum on ATS over on the left side you see some of the posts with high flag counts show up with a green flag next to them. I take it this means the post in question has a lot of flags, but other posts with a similar number of flags have what looks to be a black box / emblem next to them. Why is this? Is it a glitch, or does it have something to do with the activity on that thread, or the age of it?

Just curious.

edit...I think I may have figured part of it out. It looks like the black emblem and green flags mean different things. The emblem means you are subscribed to the thread in question, correct?

If it's black, you're going to die.
If it's green, you probably just need a little pennicillium.

Do you mean the black arrow in a circle? I believe those are the "pinned" threads which will always be at the top.

Or is this about the difference between the all-green flags and the "green outline round black" flags?
I think the latter is "many flags among recent threads", so they go at the top of the page above the "pinned" threads, while the all-green flags are more long-term.

Black flag - you didn't click the Flag to flag it

Blue flag - you clicked the flag previously to flag it

Green Flag - Maybe your colour scheme is different for ATS - settings for which are in the profile thingy (I think it is there)

If you see a yellow flag then you can not overtake or pass the poster in front of you.

Good question. I also see a blue bubble next to some of them.

The bubble means "lots of replies". It's the same shape as the "reply" icon.

Green means lots and lots of replies/flags.

Black, like the one below means you replied to the thread. It doesn't mean you flagged it.
