Four Killed In Anti-Charlie Hebdo Protests.

news.sky.com...

At least four people have died in Niger in violent protests over the Charlie Hebdo's publication of a new cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed. Forty five people were also injured in the clashes in the second city of Zinder, with demonstrators ransacking three churches and setting fire to the French cultural centre. Tear gas was fired during further protests in Niger on Saturday. In Karachi, Pakistan, people were injured when protesters clashed with police outside the French consulate.

Niger.

Algeria

Pakistan.

Wow! This is so funny... take a look at the skynews link, whilst reading the story, you'll be silently laughing. It's pathetic so much controversy, problems, hate, over a bloody cartoon!

interesting mechanism. jewish people in europe make a cartoon and christians in africa are killed and their buildings burned down. reminds me a bit of the marxist machine in south africa. when the people get restless that the marxist gov isn't helping them enough with food and other necessities they were promised, the leaders point at the indigenous farmers, who are then summarily executed by gangs of pissed off people.

as a result, there's less food available because the new owners often don't know how to farm or the now unfarmed farm is sold outright to corporations who use it instead for non food related industry. for example, food is grown but it's used to make dog food instead of people food. as a result, there's even less food available, and the cycle repeats. in this fashion, they have made farming in south africa the most dangerous profession in the world.

Thats a spot on description I have met many people here in the UK who have returned from Rhodesia/ Zimbabwe who`s families were butchered for their land and their farms destroyed. Their native workers also attacked and killed. End result the farms no longer produce food, it was a bread basket and now they are begging for food to feed the population. These were ex RAF who had fought the nazies ect then went to Rhodesia and built a new life thereby improving the lot of the people there. In the RSA the local people are no better off they are still living in slums and being ripped off by the govt.

Any excuse for a riot is a good excuse for a riot , I'm not sure t's amusing but it is sad on several levels.

you make a good point . atheists riots would be about things like science in application, influence and power. the normal human stuff that isn't beautified or uglified by religion or ancient history.

I don't care what your religion is, is does not give you the right to kill or terrorize people that disagree with you, are not of your faith or make an image of your messiah, prophet, whatever. I said it in another thread - If the only way you can spread and defend your idea/belief is to kill innocents, your ideas/beliefs are wrong. Period.

It's not about religion.

It's a culture clash between the Muslim world and the non-Muslim world.

It wouldn't be so big a deal if Western statesmen weren't so hell-bent on mixing up populations.

perhaps the push to do that is being used as a means to spread democratic marxism, since it is infinitely more agreeable to islam's prefered social law set (sharia), they are being used to force the issue, and likely will be mass murdered later under the pretext that they killed all those people. it's twisted, but whoever said the guys at the top of the food chain are mentally and emotionally sound?

Could be.

It's not a situation that can go on ad infinitum.

Are we still going to hear about this crap on a regular basis for the next 20, 30, 50 years?

Like the song says, something's gotta give.

There would be no riots to do with this if everyone was Jewish.

There would be no riots to do with this if everyone was Hindu.

There would be no riots to do with this if everyone was Wiccan.

There would be no riots to do with this if everyone was Buddhist.

There would be no riots to do with this if everyone thought like me and believed exactly like I did.

What you said.

I sincerely hope not as it's already been in our faces for the last 15. I'm so fed with it, if there was a Shuttle leaving tmrw for 'Mars' and Mars had a comfortable living situation, I'd buy a ticket (Unless it was free of course)

Not totally true, though I know where you are going.

There is friction within the Muslim community. There has been friction within the Christian community. There probably has even been friction within the Wiccan, Buddhist and Hindu communities.

Probably the truest statement is: there would be no riots to do with this if everyone was dead.

Human nature. Gotta love it.

If anyone still thinks the Anti-Christ is not doing his bidding through this religion, you're eyes are closed. To have millions of Muslims still following this religion after all the blood shed it's responsible for, is absolutely mind numbing! It's kind of like belonging to a NAZI organization and saying it's a peaceful organization, yet they're killing and torturing people all around you! Just because there are so called "peaceful" Muslims not murdering innocent people, doesn't say much when it's being done in the name of their religion! Ask yourself, would any level headed person still belong to an organization or religion if you found out some of your fellow members engaged in murdering innocent people? Hell no, so please don't give me the argument that most Muslims are peaceful. If they can't see the conflicting evil that their religion manifests in their followers, than there is definitely a cause for concern.

I find it ironic every time I see a Muslim women wearing a head scarf or covering their face in public, how naive they must be to subject themselves to such control because of a religious belief. It clearly shows their religion does not treat women equally as it does men. Nothing like enslaving yourself, is it no wonder why they're so easily persuaded to kill people who don't subscribe to their beliefs?

I totally agree with your sentiments... I've had exactly the same thoughts as you.

I even mentioned on another thread that the 'Peaceful' Muslims should start a totally new Religion called 'Peaceful Islam', then we'd see just who is peaceful and who isn't or maybe the 'peaceful' ones should be made to wear 'yellow' or something.
