Dozens of FBI agents raided a Florida medical supply firm following accusations of Medicare fraud. The firm’s top executive is Daniel Porush – a convicted felon whose illegal antics were featured in the movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street.'

On Wednesday, FBI agents, the Florida fraud department, and local law enforcement officials closed entrances to the building of Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc., in Boca Raton, Florida, and were seen removing boxes of files.

FBI raids Florida medical firm with connection to 'Wolf of Wall Street'

This investigation appears to be triggered by a lawsuit. Not much of a surprise, they were probably waiting for a reason to bust this guy again.

The Governor of Florida Rick Scott was pulled a similar stunt on Medicare years ago in Alabama before he was governor and a resident of the state.

This just shows how our injustice system at work.

Figures......

For the record governor Rick Scott medicare rip-off scam was much bigger.

This is one of the many reasons why we can not have affordable health care in the US on a capitalistic approach medicine and necessary devices.

There are people who should not be allowed anywhere near the institution of the medical field, and those people can be loosely described as "those who believe they have a right to make lots of money from it".

Medicine is not an industry, it is a calling. Those who disagree should not be able to get within a MILE of anything which has an outcome for patients, the care afforded to them, or the way they are treated after they have received medical attention.

Guten Morgen- You mean Rick Scott who spent $72M of the ill-gotten do-re-me for a job that pays $137k/yr.? You mean that One? The aforementioned fraud in Alaslama was to the tune of $475M and if all the Southern Governors™ were to hold a conference in Ala. Rick Scott wouldn't be able to attend due to the "Keep-Away Order".. Remember the "Pill Mills"? He closed all those and put in His own private business "Concierge Drs." or 'Strip Mall Docs' the place one goes when they don't want to go to the local E.R. Remember the drug test for welfare recipients authored by Jimmie Smith-R-Inverness ? Where the welfare recipient would have to take a drug test prior to getting their checks? They would have to also pay for same. At Flori-Duh hospitals the tests averaged $150. At the Strip Mall offices the tests averaged $34. Where would You go?
The Gov. did admit it was a "conflict of interest" and signed over His portion of the business to His Wife, because We all know most married couples do not communicate..

You mean that Rick Scott?

You're dealing with FloriDUH.. We get to pay for a Nuclear Plant that "MAY" be built in North Carolina in the year 2055!! So get out of here with Your LOGIC! Just as long as We can save .88¢ down at Walmart™ and then to remind ourselves of the old oater's that We'd watch as kids, We throw our Walmart™ bags out the window and make them blow like tumbleweeds, Flori-DUH Tumbleweeds ALL from ChinaMart™

Yet when someone who was apparently POed the FEDs does the same thing in the same state that Rick Scott is governor of the FBI takes them down.

It is interesting to note that Rick Scott has recently and unexpectedly replaced the FDLE(Florida Department of Law Enforcement) commissioner. There are some rumors that perhaps they were investigating him for something. If this is the case hopefully the FEDs can step in and clean house.

Just as Daniel Porush was still up to his con man ways, I think it is worth considering that Rick Scott is still using con man and scam tactics, just now he has a lot more power and immunity.
