Pawns of the rulers with no "legitimate" influence on proceedings...

When Saudi Arabia fund you, you'd better be willing to play hardball!

If they got elected, it would spark civil war. there would be no better example of the rift between urban and rural people, and its already getting very tense.

Who is "THEY"? Cuz all I see is another religious sect mixing in politics? Where is the "Muslim Brotherhood" apart from this group being Muslim?

Hell...does that mean that I can declare Christians in DC and their Evangelical Political backers the "Lords Resistance Army" and followers of Kony?

ATS is a disappointing place lately..No one raises an eyebrow to this BS?

Who is "THEY"?

The title of this thread:

It Begins: Muslim Brotherhood Starts USA Political Party

From the article's opening:

Washington, DC: With an eye toward the 2016 election, the radical Muslim Brotherhood has built the framework for a political party in America that seeks to turn Muslims into an Islamist voting bloc.

Further reading on who the Muslim Brotherhood is:

en.wikipedia.org...

Where you can find this gem:

The motto of the Brotherhood was traditionally "Believers are but Brothers". That was expanded into a five-part slogan: "Allah is our objective; the Qur'an is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish."

What, specifically, would you find untrue or worth arguing in my statement? It doesn't even presume the information to be true. Its merely a suppositional statement based on the topic of the thread.

Was soap box finger wagging really necessary?

You really should take a look at Radio Free Liberty in East Germany during the CW. Better yet check out "A Mosque In Munich". The utterly absurd idea that a Muslim Brotherhood related party WOULD EVER hold any sway in the U.S. is beyond ridiculous. Do you actually believe these people are going to gain the super majority needed to override the POTUS?!?!?! REALLY!?!?! I know, I know, the current POTUS is a brotherhood member..… I hate to break it to you, but just like any other POTUS, Obama is beholden to the money men... Are you trying to spread irrational fear? The information and conclusions contained within in the OP are nothing short of a joke! Was this a production for the far right?(BTW I really despise the far left and do not identify with either "side")

Yeah, but...

'Muslim voters have the potential to be swing voters in 2016," said Nihad Awad in launching the benign-sounding U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, whose membership reads like a Who's Who of Brotherhood front groups.

Speculation and opinion not quite fact.

There are those who confuse political freedom with having the right to openly belong to a terrorist organization. If a group has been labeled as a terrorist organization, I do not think they have the protection of the law to the same degree as the average citizen. Essentially what they're attempting to do is mask their terrorist organization, an organization that has called for violence against the US government and citizens of the US, under the guise of a political party. This group is an enemy of the US, and even if nobody within the group has committed a crime they are still not given the right to set up a political party in the US since they are openly affiliated with the terrorist group. It is similar to a group within the US calling for violence and saying that they are protected under the right to free speech. It does not work that way. One's rights only extend so far. Therefore this organization, if setup within the US, should be, and likely will be, targeted from the outset. The only thing that fanatics like these people understand is FORCE. The sooner we can rid the world of such bigots, the better off we will be. I do not advocate the use of violence for just anything, and would much rather be a pacifist, but any society must be willing to use violence to protect what they have established.

This is basically the premise of law enforcement as well. And like I've stated numerous times in the past, Islam is the problem just as much as the fanatics. The fanatics would not exist if they did not have a doctrine to rally behind- a doctrine that clearly calls for believers to do what these people are doing. So there will be no reasoning with these people, because they are detached from reality. And again I say that we use force, and do not even give them the benefit of the doubt. They should not have the same protection of our laws and our rights when they are actively seeking to destroy us. We should outlaw Islam in my opinion, again because the teachings of the religion call for violence against non-believers. People try to argue the contrary, but they're wrong. The Quran is quite clear on this point in many different places. And it is not as if these are being presented as historical accounts. Some are, where you have a person specifically calling a group of people to violence, but in other instances there are calls for the readers, which now are modern believers, to commit these same atrocities.

It was rhetorical. The Communists were the boogyman of the past, they have(I think they still do) a presence in America but politically they have zero influence. This will be the same imo.

Whenever I read these types of posts, I just shake my head (No) because it's clear what the OP is trying to do. Do you really think that a third political party has any chance in the American system? Regardless of who they are (Green party, islamists, etc.), a third party will never win. Mostly because the vast majority of americans are uneducated as to how their system of governance & will ALWAYS end up voting democrat or republican. Voting for anyone else requires some reading and THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Just because a few extra brown people live in this country doesn't mean we are going to overwhelmingly vote for sharia law. Any attempts to scare people into thinking this is the case is just stupidity at its best. The more parties in our country, the more democratic it is by definition.

Let them run, so they can see that we will have none of their non-sense.

On the upside: he did provide a workable set of laws that brought a rather large geographical and ethnic region under a fairly uniform set of laws.

The downside: we still remember Hammurabi as a great giver of laws, too.

So then you are the one without a brain. You have to be Muslim and give consent to be judged in Sharia court.

The US analogy to a Sharia court is Judge Judy, it's a legally binding court with it's own rules that both parties opt into.

Another TV judge maybe, but not her.

I think in Sharia court they actually want to hear what both sides have to say.

Just because you don't want to do the leg work in researching the facts doesn't make this a hoax

Source< br /> Source 2Source 2

So now you have two options:
Condemn Carson for wanting to inject religion into schools like Liberals condemn Christians for wanting to do the same.

Condemn him just like Steve Scalise was for speaking with a radical group.

Just because you are lazy and ignorant does not make this false.

And the Creators of all this strife sit back and laugh, the pot has been stirred successfully enough to make everyone forget, even the somewhat skeptical are being forced to take sides.

Lively thread look forward to more arguments and it does seem no place to go but conflict.

Will ATS live on through a World War ?? Sure hope so this is dam entertaining thread.

Been saying it for years...attack from within. If you can't win a war by force, and the enemy is a bunch of bleeding-hearts just invade...ummm...immigrate, populate, breed and take over. Welcome to the new USA! And keep your eye out for the terrorist attacks that will begin shortly. You think Israel has it bad? Watch this.
