If they're U.S. citizens and want to form a political party and vote that party, that's their right, just as it is any citizens'.

& why were Israel so up in arms about the decision if it's "null" as the Envoy put it?

Probably because it isn't null at all...Probably because it's a legit decision that now needs to be appealed to actually say it's not significant!
