The first real show I went to was iwrestledabearonce and Chelsea grin, they were both awesome. I've seen a lot of the most prominent deathcore
acts from the mid-2000 era like despised icon, born of Osiris stuff like that plus a few punk bands and other stuff at various warped tours.I don't
go to shows anymore though, the scene is changed and I'm almost 30, lol...
People our age seem pretty prevalent at most shows I've been to, but then again I really haven't been to an astounding number of deathcore shows.
Usually have fun but the last deathcore type show I went to ( the faceless and I want to say every time I die) there were a ton of off-duty
lumberjacks with gauged ears and freshly inked cliche tattoos lol.
Anathema is a band that has changed from being one of the big 3 English Doom bands of the 90s with MDB and Paradise Lost to something so unique and
great...

I think I am seriously stuck in the 80's for most of my metal preferences..
I have to correct people when they call me a hippie because of my hair.
I'm an old metal head.

Oh you guys didn't? Ok well I am going to start off with some Thrash / Death Metal from Testament back during my days. These guys perfectly combined
the sound of Metallica and Slayer during the late 80's and early 90's. These two are from Testament's first Album, The Legacy. EnjoY.

Kirk Hammet of Metallica produced these guys first successful demo back in the late 80's called Kill as One. 'Kill as one' here is recorded from their
first Album called The Ultra Violence. Their drummer was just 14 years old then. All of the original members were of Filipino descent. These dudes
blew up in the Thrash scene very quickly, and then blew up huge in Japan. The second video is from their 3rd album, called Third Act.
