Hey guys! I'm hoping there is a website out there that lists random items and their dimension. Pretty straightforward but none of my search terms are yielding any results. Thanks in advance.

Can we narrow that search to what "type " of objects?

you could Search for the dimensions of a specific item, but I doubt there's a site with them all gathered. example "what are the measurements of a penny?"

Objects that really exist.

I need a website like this so that I can model things to scale.

@ AreUKiddingMe

Yeah I could search for specific item and that works fine most of the time. I just thought it would be cool of there was a site with that kind of info. The kind of site only a geek would love.

Not "random" but "dimension" ...

Also theres a book by Ian Banks Fiction called The Wasp Factory
But the main characters Father Is obsessed with the size an dimensions of absulutley everything.

Be it a spoon a table a tea pot .a carpet everything.

He lists the lengths of every item in the home an labels them with the results.
And is constantly re checking .

He Is one of the more normal characters In the book.

Thats a lot of objects. Usually people specialize. Good luck with the one site for everything.

My collection of books is a ton or (so far), just a fraction of whats out there.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but a site for a store with a variety of objects, like Target, will have a detailed view for each item. In the detailed view they usually give the object's dimensions if it's something like furniture, appliances, etc.
