HI there,

Tomorrow Denmark will be hit by a storm that may be the worst storm ever to hit Denmark so far. If anyone is interested I will be live streaming the storm on Ustream for as long as I can stand to stay outside, or until it's getting too boring or dangerous.

I wont be saying anything interesting, it is only for those who may want to follow it live

You can follow it from this link: www.ustream.tv...

I hope this is the right forum for my post - otherwise please move it to the right forum

I'll be watching!
Just been to the store, and Dagmar is really blowing hard .. hopefully it wont be as disastrous as Bodil.

I'm located in North-Zealand. (djævle-øen
)

Seems Britain is taking a big pounding as of now..

Yea, hopefully no one will get hurt in the storm, there is no doubt that if I find the situation is becoming dangerous I will go find shelter

I am from South-Zealand, so the recording will be from Vordingborg

Germany will be hit too, our government has a worst case scenario with up to 1000 deaths because of storm tides and huge black outs.
If this is going to be that huge, I will not leave the house tomorrow. I doubt the numbers, since it is a worst case scenario, but I still don't want to risk getting hit by a tree

If it's been requested that you evacuate your area because of the approaching storm, don't expect help from local emergency services when the situation gets too out of hand for you.

People like you end up making others to put their lives at risk to rescue you. You're totally irresponsible.

That being said, I don't wish you any ill will, and hope you stay safe, but if anything happens, you bought it on yourself, all to get a thrill off people watching a video.

I hope it's worth it.

Dagmar wasnt really a big deal for anyone else than those living in the western part.

The next storm today, named Egon, has now been upgraded to hurricane strength and will probably be worse than Dagmar....

The worst one so far was Bodil where the streets of Copenhagen and other cities were flooded. My workplace has a large basement with props and man that was a problem

hopefully Egon wont be that bad..

Relax, this is Denmark, not the US. Our storms are a drop in the ocean in that aspect. I will venture to the beach to hopefully see some great waves. As I already stated, I wont be out if I deem the situation to be more than I can handle.

I love watching the storm chasers when they are out there, and just want to provide like minded people the opportunity too see how it will go here in DK

So yea, this storm was kind of a dull blow of wind instead - It is a good thing I suppose since no real damage was caused. But not exactly the exiting news that our weather channels had promised us

The MSM does like to sensationalise everything nowadays. The new buzz word is "Weatherbomb", AKA Some Wind..

Still waiting to use my Kevlar Umbrella i bought a few years ago for the Sharp Rain that was promised.

West coast is seeing a rise in waters now..... Rather high.

What is peculiar though is this hot december and january.

We hardly went below 0 and the snow we had so far wS here for a total of three days. We build a snowman and saw him melt the same day.

The average temp right seems to be around 5-6 degrees C
