What if humans are just cosemetic testing?

In a funny twist to things, just like we experiment on animals and test them to see the efficiency on substances on humans before human testing. Maybe the aliens are testing whatever they need to test with the requirement needing they need an intelligent evolving species, hence human testing.
May not be a means to serve a major purpose but merely to test us on before their people.

That could explain GMOs, chem-trails, flouride in everything, pharmaceuticals, and other toxins.

They could just get the results from our own governments, they don't seem to have such an aversion to testing whatever they feel like on us.
