I just posted a thread about guessing when the first picture of something on mars turned out not to be a rock as a bit of fun.

Please do not think this was a response to your post it just happened that way.

Funny how we need to dig up fragile fossils on earth but they are just laying on the surface of mars.

Depends on wen he claims he identified it.

"He who shall not be named" posted his thread in Feb. 2013. Thats a pretty good gap from then till now.

The only link in the OP is to his wiki page which doesn't really say when he claimed it.
