PSN network problems - am I the only one.

Hi, i bought my son a PS4 for xmas, and since then he hasn't been able to log in or play on line.

Is anyone else here having problems with the PSN network recently?

It's been down for couple days. A group of hacker called Lizard Squad launched ddos attacks on PSN and Xbox live. I thought that Kim Dotcom made a deal with the hackers to stop the attacks but maybe it didn't work out!

The network is back up but won't be able to play some online games as they recover until later today or tomorrow.

Well, here in Spain its not up..you can't play or even log in...I've had this crap coupled with the blue screen of death where the PS4 gets stuck in safe mode loops..anyone know how to cure that??

Ps3 ps4 both of my systems are down too. They need updates for my games to work right offline too. And with all the hacks in the last month. They are collectively $800 of modern useless art on the shelf.

My XBox is also glitchy. Works. But hey, technical hack issues.
But I have a tablet. So I can read about it.

They're not hackers. Ignore the sensationalized titles on all the media articles out there.

They DDoS servers and networks. It's not hacking.
Lizard Squad has also been bribed to stop attacking and I think will never attack PSN and Xbox live again for a while.

Thanks for the info.. I got a lot of updates to do.

I saw a blurb on the news earlier today that both Xbox network and ps network might be getting hit with ddos attacks. I'm at work now and haven't looked into it at all, just tossing it out there.

Hackers have released password information from the PSN hack. Apparently they were playing man in the middle and compromised the accounts that tried to access the network the past few days.

I'm glad i game on my pc and dont have to deal with this kinda thing.

My buddy in Indiana says PSN is out for him, too. They hit EA games, he says.
