Yes I know it's early but someone somwhere is waking up and just has to check in.

I already know what I have got for crimbo.

Cheese making rennet, an odd gift I know but it's everything I ever wanted.

No socks luckily but also 5 bars of 85% organic chocolate.

Happy as a man could be. each to there own and share your pain/pleasure.

I exchanged gifts early with my lady... She bought me a sweet pair of frye's. Family in the south sent me an ounce of gold - wasn't supposed to open it yet, guess I haven't matured yet

Merry Christmas

Last year, me and my girlfriend (now fiancé)
went to her mothers house to exchange gifts, she went first and opened a gift from her grandmother, it was a turtle neck sweater. Next I opened my gift from her grandmother, it was the same turtle neck sweater in a different color lol. Definatly never wore that. Afterwords her mom said that her grandmothers mind might be going.

You have to love grandma gifts.

I would say more but it was you and not me.

Well done...

I must confess that I do not know what frye's are but they sound good?

Also gold is always a good gift.

My girlfriend bought me, well us really, a house. An old farm house I now have the pleasure to renovate any way I desire. Going to have us a nice garden, chickens, Zen garden and the fine things ...maybe even an outdoor shower

Metal detecting accessories and some fossil collecting bits.

But the funniest and best present was being able to watch my Mrs stumble the 2 miles home from the neighbouring village where some family live. Drunk women are bad.

A girlfriend from HS came to visit. It was the first time we'd seen each other in over a decade! And she came bearing books. I've an avid book collector, and here are a few oldies she found for me to add to the shelves! She say's she'd been saving them for years, until we could get together and see one another.

It might not seem like much, but it meant the world to me! It was a fantastic surprise to see her.

Socks and underwear-

I ask for only this every year. I have an obsession with new socks. Underwear is nice too. I use that all the time.

LOL

I am serious too.

EDIT TO ADD:
Oh and I got 2 colognes.

My husband is a Carpenter so I ask him to make me things. This year I asked for and then received this morning a Shinto Shrine, it is perfect for our home, it is more a gift for the house and not mine per say but I love it anyway.

I also asked for books and received many of the ones I asked for....Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, Norse Myths, Mansfield Park, one on Buddhism and one on Japanese culture, oh and a new coffee mug.

We pretty much get each other what we want but we usually add in an extra gift not on our lists.

I received nothing. I am perfectly happy with it I might add. I just want everyone to have a happy holiday. The families happiness is worth more than any present I could ever receive.

I'm NOT posting pics but... my husband gave me PJs more suited to a grandma.
I handed the box right back to his janky ass. LoL!

Not two years ago for Valentine's Day he gave me lingerie more suited for a hooker.

And yeah, it's him, not me ATS.
The man cannot shop!

My girlfriend bought me a light shade, my mum bought me one of those Star Wars jumpers that are being hawked on, facebook i got new socks, new underwear another sweater. I remember when christmas used to be good and presents mattered. I remember getting a millennium Falcon and an ATAT in the same year. It's hardly worth getting out of bed for these days. Anyway hope everyone had a good day and got what they wanted.

Saw a great film, St Vincent , starring Bill Murray. I highly recommend it. Not a dry eye in the building

I got the joy of watching my daughter open present after present,
and as the pile got higher and higher around her, she finally realized she could have that purse wall she has been wanting to build in her bedroom for the last year.

WTH is a little girl gonna do with 30 purses?
Turn her bedroom into walmart, thats what...lol

Hubby surprised me with these! i have wanted a pair of hand made moccasins for years, but never felt I could justify the expense of buying a gift for myself such as these.
