More to the point, it just might be in both Russia and China's long term interests to end North Korea. Giving the U.S. an excuse to wipe out Lil' Kim makes good business sense.

Maybe the US will "liberate" NK soon. Maybe under the new POTUS...Bush the 3rd?

The backdoor is incidental but useful for all sorts of black ops. Since NK makes so much noise it becomes a "cry wolf" situation which we either ignore immeadiately or eventually ignore. So it makes NK a good fall guy, and let's face it this op would be easy.

You wouldnt even need a hacker in NK, just a couple guys and some good tech. Destroy it when you leave.

Anyway, China makes the most sense because of the development potential in unifying Korea. All that beach front property makes for fancy apartments. In two generations Kim will be a bad dream China happily woke them up from. Everyone wins.

The last time North Korea killed Americans or South Koreans, the US didn't do #. They won't do # the next time either. The US does not risk war with countries that can actually fight back.

From my point of view, those warnings are essentially coming from China, the same way that South Korea/Japan in Asia, or Israel can be used in the Middle East for American/western backed interests. And it makes sense if you see NK as a proxy state, keeping the conflict low-intensity to gauge their response time and emotional reactions that they otherwise wouldn't get.

Korea has every right to be upset with Sony or if its all such good fun then lets get a few movies thats has Obama as being queer and then see how he likes that.

That said it seems that North Korea is not behind the hack and the criminals in the US are just looking for an excuse to "Protect us" by watching every move we make.

But there army is only good for defence.

There navy and airforce are antiques a offensive war from them would be a massicare.

Sweet or sweat? OK, NK would stand no chance against the US in a "uniformed war" when you can tell who the enemy is by their dress sense and logo's, their ships, tanks, jets. Times have changed since 1945, rules of engagement have not. Kim has "little man syndrome". He makes threats with no real action...

Now I do agree with one poster that they should be taken seriously, a threat is a threat, but if the history of Un's government so far has showed us anything, it's that he is full of empty threats.

Well Obama won't ever claim any aggression against the United States is an act of war, until its too late, too late being we have no power or water due to a massive cyber attack. We might not make it to a new president with this clown in office... Letting North Korea threaten the United States is like letting a snake bite you again and again.

The next thing you know they will make a miscalculation and really do some damage to something and Obama will be left holding the bag, the worst type of president is one that is afraid to engage his enemy. Speak softly carry nothing but legal papers...
