Acknowledgement is the first step, right?

Certainly not.

I actually have found something that I can live with. It is a Jack Kerouac's dream to have this constant crazy and diverse, never ending scroll of info. Not only that, but we can interact with the script and influence it. What a great world experiment of communication.

I genuinely do find it very stimulating. Real people are writing here and it has a quality of tolerance and respect lacking in other forums I have encountered. I'm so glad of all the crazy people who make it what it is.

I love just reading away through this strange ever churning info machine.

Takes more than a months membership to be an addict me thinks.

Still, I've been here 7 1/2 years and still can't bring myself to log out.

There's no hope for us then. This addiction is the most serious I have heard of. Withdrawal is not an option.

Congrats! 7 plus years is a mighty achievement. It is people like you that have given longevity and success to this site. I wish you another 7 years of addiction to ATS and hope my addiction lasts as long!

Hi my name is cal and I'm an ATS junky. I found the stuff a few years ago and couldn't put it down. Every now and then I try to put it down and take a little reality check and end up realising that there is less reality in reality then there is in this little hidey hole of a website, I mean tortoises saving tortoises I would have never found out about that on my own!

Keep on fighting the good fight!

I get in moods myself. I am addicted to humanity and the different viewpoints they give. There is also the added feature of missing things the news just doesn't cover and people here are really on the ball. I'll put up with the UFO crap to entertainment purposes but I'm really here for current events and everyone's perspective on it.

I try to joke around in my posts and sometimes I get heated about this or that. Deep down we're in this together and together we can make a difference. On what I do not know. Welcome to the party!!!
